GreenRoc Accelerates their World Class Project to Production as Early as 2028. Watch the full video here.
TCM, from what you’ve said we aren’t that different in our view on this….
“Rkh do not know when the OM decision will be and they will need that £15mln so to me FIG will be holding both Rkh & the project back if they don't sign.
I just don't see how FIG are doing Rkh a favour on this as some here do.
Rkh have clearly stated they expect the requisite approvals No Later than 30th June 2024 so isn't that what we shareholders should also expect ?”
Agreed, agreed, agreed.
I don’t know the real position on this for sure, FIG have got themselves some leverage and appear to want to hold on to it for now. But this cash will be needed to allow Sealion to proceed and ultimately the tax is not owed as the proceeds that the tax relate to never materialised. So at some point they will have to relent and allow the development to proceed.
TCM, in my opinion the tax deed settlement that AC has alluded to will eventually be dropped. After all there is no justification for taxing money that has never materialised. However the current situation suits FIG as they are able to reign in Rockhopper and keep them focused on developing Sealion. Some have said that Rockhopper management are also happy with the situation. I’m not so sure about this myself and I’d be interested to know what Navitas make of it all.
We have an approximate timeline for Sealion production and working backwards from that date there are a number of announcements that need to be made for pieces of the jigsaw to fall into place.
By the end of 2024 we should all have a clear picture of where we stand.
I don’t think they are looking at the deadline when it comes to making this decision.
So the answer for me is that it depends on what move Navitas make next. You’re the self proclaimed Chess Master, seems to me that this whole saga with Sealion is more complicated than 3 dimensional chess.
Looks good but I’m not up to speed with FPSO specifications and the exact requirements of Sealion.
Maybe FIG are working with Navitas and Rockhopper and will sign off on the deal when Navitas and Rockhopper are ready to announce FID.
Maybe FIG are keeping Rockhopper on a short leash so the funds don’t get spent on hobnobs, coffee and Egyptian oil fields.
Who knows? No one that posts on this board that’s for sure. I’m just happy to see the pieces of the puzzle finally coming together. I had written off this whole “investment” but maybe now I’ll at least get my money back.
Ridldle me this…. If I hold over 0.25% of RKH shares then why is my name not on the list/site?
Another test

Thanks for the link pre2rcd, having quickley skim read through it that looks like mostly what was in the recent RNS plus some already known information about Sea Lion. I'll have an in depth read later this evening.
Hopefully we should be heading for over 30p by end of 2024.
Crofty
No one knows for sure how this will play out, however with regard to the current share price,.. we are stuck around the 12p to 13p level because of the warrants which people can buy for 9p.
Anyone who has held this share and many others shares where there have been placings or open offers or the like will know that the share price always gets stuck around the same level, sometimes slightly higher and sometimes slightly lower but it always stays the course until the end of the offer or the placement has completed.
So I'm afraid that for the time being, barring any staggeringly good or bad news, we will be at this level until January 2024.
TTFN, Crofty.
Keep an eye on him he's trying to develop his white bishop to c4, then he'll attack Black's vulnerable f7-square
That explains the recent change in the prominence of ethnic minorities in advertisements. I did notice a change, 3% black now over represented.
Weird thing is if you discuss these things in polite conversation you are labelled an extremist.
Also all the trans or tranny movement with the flags, and taught in primary schools, shocking.
I’m happy for people to be whoever they want and do whatever they want in the privacy of their own homes as long as they are adults and not hurting anyone. In public people should maintain some decorum and dignity, standards are important, we should be maintaining a stiff upper lip at all times.
As far as Covid being an Illuminati plot, I think that’s a bit of a stretch.
However there is now a substantial amount of evidence that links gain of function research on coronaviruses in the US that was then transferred to the Wuhan institute of virology. Then the virus appears to have leaked from the lab by infecting a worker. All of the evidence is in the public domain and much of it covered in public cross examination testimony in the US Senate.
The normal course of events usually follows some sort of compromise, in this case I expect a gradual shift away from oil and gas toward renewables. The larger oil and gas companies will have to change their business model to survive. However, I fully expect smaller companies to continue to explore and produce well into the next few decades. Obviously these assets will have to be managed responsibly. All of the necessary governance is already planned for Sealion.
(Not sure what Boris, Brexit or immigration has to do with anything here)
In the latest RNS the table shows Development Unclarified 2C of 443 MMbbls.
This is then summarised as...
The Development Unclarified category of 443 MMbbls 2C are the additional resources contained on the North Falkland Basin held by Navitas and Rockhopper, including Sea Lion and Isobel/Elaine, that could be developed under future phases but for which there is currently no published development plan.
Would Navitas and Rockhopper need to fully evaluate these fields first and go through the whole FEED and FID process before developing them or is the whole process much shorter once Sealion is up and running?
I am asking as I don't know BUT logic would suggest that as Sealion production starts to wain after a few years production then it would make sense to bring on additional nearby fields in order to maintain the initial peak production numbers seen when a field is new. Thereby making full use of any leased FPSO, this could surely be done at a much lower FID threshold than the initial develpment of Sealion.
Indeed, my original croftoriginal account was disabled, then enabled and is now disabled and won't reset.
I appended a 2 to the end and used a different email address, I still have both of my slippers and most of my shares in RKH.
I've written off these long ago, but I am interested to see how this all unfolds.
What amazes me most is the wealth of talent that posts here, people from all backgrounds with some really indepth knowledge of everything from legal and finance to oil exploration and production. Plus the detective work is outstanding, unearthing information and getting the inside track on events that are pertinent to Rockhopper and the development of Sealion.
Sealion is waxy crude that is solid when no longer under pressure and at a lower temperature?
Is this going to cause production problems?
