Shorts may either know something re.bonds or fundraising, or just want to suppress for profit.
I do know that they usually don’t exit quickly, so I would say be prepared for a wait at a low level and for it to go down more. The market is corrupt and manipulated. Shorters donrule the roost. They can drive it down more no matter what the update has to say. We are generally not expecting a good update though, so shorters will probably try to drive it down more. They really don’t exit in a hurry and 3%+ shorted is a lot of shares.
Hunker down and be prepared for a little more pain I say. Or just bottom drawer and leave.
Fund raise? Rights Issue? Placing? Bond issue? Who knows??
I give this 6 months to start a recovery…..I am npt happy but feel I am sensible.

Sistematica has significantly increased shorts 13th Dec. Others not budged much. Games being played. It’s how the City and foreign players work. Hand in hand. Possibility of leaked info, but contracts are being won as we see. Problem is that the City just about always knows anything before us, and is as corrupt as hell …aided by a government which turns a blind eye to inside dealing and loosens moral restrictions ( see last week). I’m on a significant loss and it seems that a poor update or fund raise is expected-although PFC is not short of cash. We’ll see . In 6 months we will have a better idea.

They were very effective in their day (‘39-‘45) Just wanted to give P100 a way out of his endless misery.
Think Wilko are out of them now though.

I suspect some leaked info though. But maybe that’s my mistrust of management , my personal contacts who work for the dhsc who leaked all sorts of stuff to me during lockdown time so I knew when lockdowns were coming, and the subsequent cynic in me.
But maybe it’s that random tweet.

In our mature democracy, peaceful protests can never ever be stopped .
Even in Iran and China they can’t. No country in the world can. Not even Russia .
Protesting is part of our constitution. It’s just that the govt. has its own feeble agenda too often and ignores written protests. But more people should anyway. I am involved in politicsand have direct contact with ministers ( via my MP).
More people shoud protest this way and yes in the streets too, but peacefully. Too often an excuse for biolence. We will never ever end up a dictatorship like Russia or China where protests are not allowed. But they happen anyway!! Huge illegal protests in both countries this month.
I have tried to change the shorting regulations here and try to put them more in line with Germany. Fail. Govt. not interested. Makes too much money from the City. Idiots have only last week releaaed 2008 ‘safety measures’ on finance!!
This govt. in all my years takes the biscuit for idiocy.

Reads to me like the govt. is fairly duplicitous on shorting and comfortable with loosening shorters to wreak havoc. I did not digest it all-I will later, but if I am right, then it is typical ignorance and lack of understanding of this govt .( see Trusso-Kwartonomics..got carries away…please!!).
Shorters are chewing at PFC and it is outrageous after the SFO that investors now have to put up with this sh*t.
