Sorry if I offended your holdin if you do. I am not undermining TXP in any way. I don’t do that. I am simply referring to Trin’s debt-free status. TXP could offer a Placing or Right Issue as could any company . Trin has done this already. It was simply a comment on the financial supra-stability of Trin which has nothing to
pay but SPT and royalties ( and unrmployment tax!) . I don’t study TXP so am not in a position to criticiseand wouldn’t publicly anyway. Trin’s debt-free status puts it on a different financial platform from peer companies. That’s all.

Having said that I feel that what little is left is safer here than elsewhere. I would not want to be in the sister oilies lije cerpnor txp. I would not feel safe. Trin is not tge celebrated party share right now but I still hold the same number of shares whatever the value. Sell up or pass through the tunnel again . When Trin recovers it doesn’t do so gradually...it tends to spike up sharply. Investors have left in droves. So....there is no better time to invest than at low sentiment and low shareprice in a financially solid company. Buy when all others are fearful. Sell when exuberant . Glad I bought at 1.46p in 2016. Weren’t many of us around. And tge company was in REAL trouble. Night all.

This is a tricky time. I feel very strongly that the business model is very defensive and too long term for many investors who want their money now. I see Trin’s weaknesses and strengths. I am afraid that their blindness to private investors hurrs. We should not be at 12p. 18-20p is fair. Brice knows a lot about oil but does not seem to care about the common investor. People are selling as they do not feel that they are valued and considered in the way that they are investing for a return fgs! I am on a humungous 44% loss and am equal longest investor. Like Manaca I need the money just to survive. We are the victim of a long term seller ...I have my suspicions. That has driven us down admittedly. But the investor sentiment is as dire as I have EVER known and the company really ought to be made aware of this. Those who are still here...very few left....really have a duty to communicate with them . They are not very good at taking responsibility for market and share price actions. But they oight to. They have a responsibility to investors not just in 2-3 years but in the mid term too. Fgs I’ve been here 5 1/2 yrs. Hardly shortvterm. And we are 12p !!! The seller has almost planned to depress the price. Relentless. It may have been intentional as they lost a lot of money in their timing!! But bearing that in mind the RNS wasxunclear and needed the finances explaining and was very sterile. With Trump forcing oil down again we need some interest from Mr Dingwall not just to promote 2-3 yrs but 3-6 months. I may not be around in 2-3 yrs and woukd like to live now.

Like Setanta and Spud and McC I have been in here since takeover. On and off. I hold quite a few on a loss. There are multiple possibilities as to slump in price. Mostly it’s just what AIM does. Not necessarily for any reason other than to set off stop-losses or depress people into selling. Patience wins . Except in dodgy companies about to fail. This does not show signs of such.

Why are people not telling the BOD what they think? No point just complaining. And I complian enough .

Berenberg cut to £7.70 and Peel Hunt to £1100. Berenberg is a house broker too I believe. It’s description was lucid. Perl Hunt -not a house broker-was actually almost upbeat . Very rational on describing a bad quarter and wrong to extrapolate fully from one quarter. And how Plus is very creative with its capacity to evolve with changing markets.
By July things will be much clearer. I expect volatility from Hell this week as opportunists and shorters do their stiff.
Big big wads of cash in Plus accoint. No creditors . Just the task to adapt. This is a harsh cold- hearted environment and business but not necessarily corrupt . Many others ( Tesco/VW RBS/Lloyds/Barclays etc) have been and got away Scott-free anyway. Outrageous really.
Plus does not deserve a share price of £4.95 or lower if it does. That’s less than 2013 price with marginal profit and zilcho punters. Wherever it goes is short term and a paper loss is only that unless you decide to crystallize it. PFC was hit around same time as Plus. Still has SFO on its back but has climbed 28% in 2 1/2 months. Patience and tolerance for discomfort.

After hours trades are almost exclusively delayed trade reporting or accumulated AT trades fulfilling an oder from fund or shorter. Atm Plus is being played by shorters and opportunistic city traders. Hence massive volatility. Even the brokerz can’t value it properly and admit it. Perl Hunt about £1100/Berenberg £770. CG can’t decide yet. Plus is an anomaly right now. This is a very complex situation right now. Big hedge fund ( Odey) bought a lot. Why?
Lots of small shorters. Greenvale 1.4% though. They are forcing price down via algorhythmic AT sells. They can make it go up or down. So make a fortune.Debt -free. Lots of cash. Bad quarter. Makes full year ahead look dicey re. Profits . Read the update.
Value probably £6.50 right now but won’t see it as shorted. Lots of people losing a lot but that’s what shorters do to investors.
Don’t read into after hours delayed trades. The sells may be buys or vice versa anyway!

I agree. In 3 months thing will have settled. It can take that long. Almost impossible to decide anything except panic sell right now. Usually bad idea. Patience usually good unless dodgy company. Plus is credible and cash rich. No debtors.

We can’t look mid or long term yet. This is in traders’s hands. Like Glen/Capita/Carillion/Tullow/PFC. Slaves to the bot. They know how to play the share like a harp. It could go absolutkely anywhere in a morning or afternoon..And just when you think it’s climbing...crash. It’s what they do. We will see.
You can’t really decide anything more than by the minute. They already have their plans for Monday . Most we can do is ride the storm or sell out.

For those of you who have this year written off for Olus...yes prob won’t reach target as Berenberg said. But never forget than in this worl volatility is always just round the corner. They call the vix the fear index. Things that affect the market most are the unexpected ones ( ERM/Asiacrisis/dotcom crisis/9-11/Iraq/Lehmans etc.) so...one quarter is just one quarter. As the brokers did admit. Those posters who hold no shares putting Plus down...please think of those of us who are holders. The truth is that the share price will now be played with for some while shorters and opportunists do their stuff. The company is debt-free and cash-rich. Better the skeletons ate now out. They have to work at their position in a changing market. £4.88 is the same price as 2014. A year old. Let the games play out and profiteers profit. £4.88 !!!! :-/

Don’t worry Warik. I read it and didn’t get it either-at all. It’s not you. Leave CFD’s mate. Black hole. Chatboards are also a pit of doom mongers. Plus is beingshort-traded and manipulated right now. Even professionals havecadmitted they can’t make out forwatd value ( Peel Hunt is good to read). See what Monday brings. How much u got in here? ( don’t say if don’t want).

Part of reason I don’t do cfd’s is that they can be hard to get your head round. I don’t understand fully either.My advice..steer clear.

The% of people who lose is an average set over a fixed length of research-perhaps 5 yrs. It changes all the time.
One 3 month period could be 88% . Next could be 55%. As we see in the Q1results. Far more people were “beating” Plus in this quarter. To the tune of £28m. Could be that people are getting better...being more cautious etc etc
There are lies damn lies and there are statistics. Misleading % which is an average over one fixed period. It’s constantly varying. It has to. One month it could even be 65% or lower and the next 90%.
Don’t be fooled by misleading quoted statistics ( govt or not). They don’t explain them properly.
Important thing is that more people lose when they start ..ususlly. And it’s more akin to gambling than share trading. ( ‘ Allegedly addictive to some.)
Important thing is to tale tesponsibility for self and find out the risks. Read Plus
