And they held a paltry $1.1bn worth in each of BHP and Glencore...

TDT, as at 31 Dec 18 the Sovereign Wealth Fund held 14.5m shares in SXX, so they are already invested, if modestly. Maybe that will increase if they get out of miners involved in coal.

Roulette, I was aware that they are disinvesting from oil, but this is from coal....so disinvesting from some major mining companies, and news?

The sovereign fund already have a fair slug of SXX, but maybe now would like some more.

He has no “extensive knowledge”, just a few overheard financial terms to insert in no logical argument and repeat remorselessly, a Thesaurus, disdain and insults to offer fellow-posters, and extensive time to waste ... especially, it seems, now that he has sold out of SXX.

I had hoped he would find now something more productive to do, but apparently not.

LKHayman was a renowned frequent poster on the now pretty much defunct Interactive Investor chat pages, a man of business and investing experience and trenchant views, with a great turn of phrase.

He was sceptical of SXX for a long while, then from memory invested modestly and posted briefly here.

I no longer seem able to access the FT comments without paying - weird! So can’t post his comment. Maybe if he reads this he will....

Maybe now that they have had two turns, obviously unaided by teachers or parents, for the second TBM or the SBR members of this BB could be allowed to vote...for T......M.....?!

It would be surprising to me if CB holders that hadn’t decided to hedge their positions when the SP was a lot higher decided to do so now that we are at/below 20p, or if those that had already hedged decided substantially to increase their hedging levels now.

To me it is however likely that several of the CB holders, hoping and even expecting to be involved in the raising of the $4-600m through more CBs or equity, are motivated to drive and keep the SP low through shorting so that they can get in cheap when Stage 2 is set up.

Me too since today, on Sheps' recommendation.
