I doubt they would sell it to be fair, kind of defeats the object. They have stated they are looking to invest in many facets of the energy sector, hence they hold a stake in HE1. Once producing they then have a solid income for a number of years, which will be worth far more than the couple of million stake they currently hold. Wouldn't make sense to sell at all

Interesting, a sea of red, and the SP doesn't go down! Usually a few sells and it sinks like a stone - Wonder if a big order being filled, and if buyers are struggling to buy looking at the pattern

Probably just sweeping up shares from people prior to rise, 80 million more buys than sells, and the price goes down - Treeshake me thinks, MM's loading up ready to make big profits. On a side note, HE1 doing well today in the run up to drilling

At the end of the day, SL was discovered 10 years ago, oil was over $100 a barrel, and the SP peaked at around 550 per share. It is then quite comical people saying it's promising that the price of oil has risen recently, so what, it was more than double, and they still didn't get it out of the ground, so what's changed now? Diddly squat. The only way this will get anywhere is with a takeover by a bigger player

Not de-ramping, but calm down! 500'000 shares is about 6k, hardly an indicator of news coming soon. Probably just someone sticking away 6k as a long term pension pot investment

That's not quite accurate though is it, Berkeley are now Kendrick Resources, and list Barclays Bank as a major shareholder

R1 - Have you actually lost money? Admittedly, my shareholding has less value, but so what, I haven't lost anything, it's only a loss if you sell below what you paid, and only a loss if you sell at all.

Calpos, correct, with a house they wouldn't. That said however, a house with mortgage has a settlement date of between 20 and 40 years, a lot of day traders don't play with their own cash, and have credit accounts, and play with CFD's. As a consequence, some purchases have settlement of between 3 and 10 days, so if they are down come settlement day, they have to pay the difference, hence they jump out at the first sign of a dip

So, in exchange for what? Shares, or stake in asset? stake in asset seem to be contrary to what is said here:

Erm, have you considered funding could be as simple as a loan? Company now worth more, making it feasible for a decent size loan to come from a financial institution, in exchange for interest. I hoping you are familiar with the concept of loans and credit, funding provided by loan, monthly payments over a period of time, pay back more than borrow....Simples

As I said, there are many funding options available, that don't include dilution. Quite simply, the SP has fallen because people cannot be bothered to wait long term, and all the day traders are jumping elsewhere in the short term, and will likely be back in a week to pump and dump again - welcome to the world of AIM

Direct funding could be in the form of a loan, or advance payment for what comes out of the ground, it could also be funding linked to discount on product at a later date. Unsure why the mass panic and hysteria, many decent funding options without a dilution

So what if he wants to keep all of it, does this not represent better value for shareholders in the long term? I personally think it does
