I was just out walking in the local park and a geezer with hardly any hair in a lab coat jumped out at me and opened his lab coat. I expected the worst I have to be honest I thought my eyeballs were about to be scared a cumberland and 2 Yorkshire puddings but to my surprise and relief he had trousers and a shrumper on.

The most interesting thing was the inside of his lab coat was full of these little packets. Initially I thought he was trying to sell me drugs but I could only see a few letters which were with Affi... printed on them. As he opened his coat he said "Ey up mate does tha wanna buy some of the good $hit".

Thanks Malpenn it was in the Q&A at the end 56 mins onwards. Said he had no clear timeline but has to be relativly quick but requires other studies and audit by external party and has to be this year to be useful.

Hate to be Anal (I dont really ha ) and I may be wrong but he didnt say "by the end of the year" for home use. I thought he said it "needed to be before the end of the year". Your post implies AS is stating home use approval will NOT be granted until the end of the year which I think is incorrect for all we know it could be tomorrow. Happy to be proved wrong if I am incorrect as I cant find the video/presentaion where this was said now.

£2.36 per test and they are 35% off because nobody wants their $hit anymore (you tend to have a sale to get rid of stock and I would be offering 80% off on Innova if I was them with the bad PR at the minute) = £3.19 a test without VAT.

So a poor test that is also NP is £3.20 a test in large bulk orders. What should a decent performing test that is AN be priced at? I would say at least mid single digits.....

I also have a lot of experience in this market and tests are selling for anything between £123,456 and £8,765,5443 per test. I wont provide links or evidence of this you will just have to trust me.

See how easy that is? Without links or evidence to back up what you are saying they are just words. I dont mean that as a slight you may very well be genuine but personally I will stick to what we have been told from Avacta with regards to the price variable when making future decisions (which was mid single digit I believe) until evidence or further info proves otherwise but thanks anyway.

That's what time we had the last RNS. Point been that an RNS can drop at ANYTIME. May not be today may not be tomorrow who the feck knows but its 9:45 on Monday ffs and again they can drop ANYTIME. Give the doom and gloom a rest and enjoy the sun.

I do find it bizarre its not in ANY of the mainstream media yet. As shareholders we sometimes wrongly expect the world to be as interested in things related to Avacta and testing as we are but the reality is they are not. Having said that in this case this is MASSIVE news and I cant fathom why it is not covered by the likes of the BBC, Sky News, Guardian etc

As noted by a few the government will have its excuses and as usual will wiggle away from critics but I struggle to see how they can continue its use past the 22nd June.

The good news is someone needs to replace Innova be that Mologic, Avacta, Abbott or any one of the other tests out there. My inclination now is that due to the sheer numbers required it is likely to be more than 1 supplier and Avacta with the quality of its test should be one of them but we wait as usual.

So you bought avacta at £2.50 and sold at £2.14 so what a 15%ish loss and bought into ODX at 60p who are 15% up today. So you are level? Avacta news could drop any day so you risk buying in much higher than the £2.14 you sold at if as you claim you are buying back in (its already back to £2.19) and then you consider that Colin could tweet at anytime sending ODX plummeting again (He seems to get kicks out of doing that). Not a risk I want or see sense in so ill ignore you if thats ok?
