I do find it bizarre its not in ANY of the mainstream media yet. As shareholders we sometimes wrongly expect the world to be as interested in things related to Avacta and testing as we are but the reality is they are not. Having said that in this case this is MASSIVE news and I cant fathom why it is not covered by the likes of the BBC, Sky News, Guardian etc
As noted by a few the government will have its excuses and as usual will wiggle away from critics but I struggle to see how they can continue its use past the 22nd June.
The good news is someone needs to replace Innova be that Mologic, Avacta, Abbott or any one of the other tests out there. My inclination now is that due to the sheer numbers required it is likely to be more than 1 supplier and Avacta with the quality of its test should be one of them but we wait as usual.

So you bought avacta at £2.50 and sold at £2.14 so what a 15%ish loss and bought into ODX at 60p who are 15% up today. So you are level? Avacta news could drop any day so you risk buying in much higher than the £2.14 you sold at if as you claim you are buying back in (its already back to £2.19) and then you consider that Colin could tweet at anytime sending ODX plummeting again (He seems to get kicks out of doing that). Not a risk I want or see sense in so ill ignore you if thats ok?
wow 2 days to go from the below to this post
"Yeah, that’s more like it. I reckon £30-40/ share in the next 12 months. We will dominate the European market and the yanks won’t be able to keep away when they see us being Europe’s saviour. Few years for the cancer treatment to really kick in but when it does oh boy oh boy KA-BOOM"
Maybe put your money in a savings account.
Apologies if posted previously (only saw it from mologics tweet) but thought it was an interesting read on the future of multiplex LFTs etc

Its definitely not clear enough for anyone to say it was definitely a buy or definitely a sell so I definitely know that definitely no one here can say with 100% definite accuracy whether it was definitely a buy or definitely a sell (unless you are the seller/buyer)
It was DEFINITELY a buy OR a sell though of that I am sure.
I saw the RNS this morning and turned off expecting a pretty dire day (sub £2.25 I thought as the nervous bailed). Turned back on now to be very surprised and see us over £2.40!! The strength of the SP after todays RNS says to me the market is expecting news very soon and it does not really care about this hiccup in the long run as long as the test gets to market.
Wont mention too much about the Avacta comms (the last 2 RNS) apart from saying what I have said for months, they are $hit sometimes and can be a massive source of frustration for holders, anyone who claims otherwise is deluded.
You can never predict when AS is going to do ANYTHING but my gut tells me that this wont be the only RNS we see this week. As I say just my gut I don't read tea leaves.
Explains the delay I guess. Find it hard to believe Mologic submitted it wrong but $hit happens. Looks like they attached 2 docs instead of 1 document?? 20th May - Immediate resubmission probably means tomorrow or Tuesday if they done it right second time round
You don't question though do you Dan. You talk $hit and your whole aim is to be disruptive and provocative. All you want is a reaction and ATTENTION. No one user screams on this board "I WANT TO BE RELEVANT" more than you. Its a little pathetic and sad but I guess if it makes you happy have at it I wont be seeing it anymore now.
I have avoided replying to the utter b@llacks you have posted since we last engaged (was starting to feeling like grooming as you are so fecking childish) and will now do what I should have done and filter you. No it is not because you pretend to "question things" or have an "alternate view to the rampers" . There are a number on here who hold a far more negative view than mine and yours to be honest and I enjoy reading their posts when their arguments hold merit, are genuine and are backed up. This board should not be an echo chamber which is why I have only 8 in my filter list. I have called out the uber rampers on numerous occasions as well as uber derampers. You though are in a class of your own, you are just an uber twat.
The honest answer is nobody knows ditchit, its all guesswork and peoples opinions but personally not at all worried it will be here when it is here. Anyone who is worried or "concerned" has the option to sell or de-risk its that simple really isn't it?
Dan.....
Shhhhhhhh little un you can keep posting the same $hite on multiple threads (I think this is the 3rd you mention my name you stalkerish little freak) but this is the Avacta bored not the "Look at Dan I need attention" board
Oh and you are still a twat.
Posted by EnergyShares a few weeks ago gives you a very brief overview to dig deeper into. Also have a look at the latest annual report which is full of useful info
