Carnival is a great company...

However the big question is surely the debt sustainability ...and a pathway to pay off this debt .....I expected better last year...coming out of Covid many expected CCL to be up not down...

Carnival shares dropped to record low , 22 % down sadly on Friday , I expect oversold …

Results within 2/3 weeks
Certainly brokers have adjusted down target prices significantly… and Nasdaq down for 3 Quarters … inflation , interest rates , the war and even Uk government mini budget impacting shares in ways we might not have imagined a year ago … normally coming out of Covid some expected things to get better , but so far not the case , and certainly average broker target now around 460 p currently …

Clued : eventually in 2 /3 years or next one month or 6 months who knows Pound might reach bottom and strengthen ( not saying pound will recover next year ) … so a buyer from Usa now could benefit if and when pound strengthens

I think Poly is just preemptively going ahead of a new EU rule that Europeans should not sit on Russian companies boards - having said that Poly is not Russian … so what’s the reason they leave ?

Did anyone see or hear about a new directive from EU ?

Agree industry doing well - look at news in Australia today - seems the Telco was not that protected..
Dark down in early trading - Nasdaq futures Diem - hard to predict day to day share price - certainly seems oversold

New dealz where did you hear the rumour from - about Defense versus attack from Russia

I have learnt lessons from trying to predict share price ( it’s not just about the company , but whole market)
Yesterday usa markets rebounded , so today might be generally positive …. Let’s see

Looks like global markets today more stable

Imagine a few scenarios
1. Usa Fed decides it’s gone too fast with rate rises and announces a slow down , smaller increases or even stops increasing rates
2. Putin - if he announces a lowering of his military moves to anti Terrorist moves , down from special military manoeuvre

3. Imagine if a new takeover bid came in for Dark
Although in favour of a take over - the 6 /8 big share holders probably want 4 figures price to compensate for losing out on next 3 years growth
Each 30 per cent growth on sales of Dark , adds quite a lot to sales price if day 10X of sales …
So all I am saying is 1. Today we could close Up and even test 328 p and 2. It only takes a few announcements from Us Fed and Putin … to make a big difference - China might start doing more after end October when they elect their new leader
So if Putin in G20 in Indonesia gets green light for a diplomatic agreement negotiations then Oil prices could drop and with it inflation and interest rates stop going up and stocks recover step by step

Dark is not “ any growth share “ …. It’s in a hot a growing “key industry with massive massive growth ahead …” and it’s a 10 year old company profitable with low or zero debt giving it more options ahead !
