Use the cash to by Aramco Stake from Saudi Soveriegn wealth fund

Also what stops then using the 10 billion proceeds to do buyback or buy a stake in another Oil company

They could buy for example 10 billion of Aramco in Saudi from the new 89 billion Soveriegn wealth fund !

Bp before covid was worth 500 p a share
At 100 USD Oil , Bp should be valued today 500 to 60 p a share
If we assume Bp gets 10 billion pounds for the sale of its stake , the same as it was worth on Friday
Then the only reason for a drop is future profits it could have got

So if you deduct 15 to 20 per cent off 500 p , then Bp still worth over 400 p next week

However some selling pressure may hapoen so down on Monday morning and up in next 2 weeks after the sale price known , so in two weeks I guess 350 p to 400 p :):):)

Whatever happens in few weeks it will be better price than tomorrow I believe, because people will buy buy buy in dip give 100 usd oil price

Roseneft shares are listed in London , right ? That gives U.K. some power !
The shares might also be listed in Russia too ?

For such a large share placement an orderly sale with the help of JP morgan , Barclays , Goldman and 2 Chinese banks and maybe even a Japanese bank would help

Oil price is high there is no reason why Bp should not get a fair price for R .
However Bp will miss out on future profits from R .

The knee jerk response tomorrow might be a few per cent down for Bp , but actually it all depends how and who it sells it’s stake in R to .

They should hire 4 banks to place the shares , maybe sell to the Chinese and Arabs ? In that case they could get a good price !

It makes sense to sell it to a rich Chinese oil firm and the same price it’s worth today or more !

Ndn71 luckily I have had a balanced portfolio , tech and value … however to cost average down did sell some value to add more Dark , now still diversified , but less than before , luckily I see that …..

……investors are recognising that there are a select number of critical cyber assets in the world are very valuable, and recent geopolitical tensions are bringing this to the fore, and Dark are very high up on that list …. So through luck Dark could get a well deserved investor interest and recover from the oversold level of today

We want Dark to close and stay above 450 p to start , then break and stay above 500 p , steadily up sustainably

My sense is big buyers including Index ETF will start buying in so not much time to add if anyone interested in Add !

Keep Diversified too , maybe some Value shares to balance portfolio !
