Hardly going to be anything else but positive exposure Mr Jones, after all he just bought �590,000 worth of shares prior to becoming a director @ SOLO. I think it is a sign of his confidence to generate the necessary deals around the Tanzanian assets. Would be great to see some competition to the Omani's :)

I am trying to keep an open mid about it Crusty :) As long as there is at least an appraisal licence then the farm out can legally proceed, but without at least that it is intangible.

Issue of a licence, so that as you say Crusty the Zubairs have something Tangible to farm in to makes that vote you mentioned all the more important to the Zubairs (coupled with their 2nd board member getting voted in) could lead you to conclude that it is more likely to lead to a fair and reasonable offer at least.

I guess there is nothing to stop them negotiating terms based on 1 of 2 outcomes and "dependent on" 1.0 an appraisal licence or 2.0 a 25 year development licence I am with BG, I see the two being intrinsically linked.

Might not they both come together or at least one directly proceeding the other Crusty?
