With the Zubairs already owning just under 30% of Aminex and therefore 30% of the PSA, then other than the $ value it will be very interesting to see the % in play and any impact in negotiations with the Tanzanian Government. To maintain control, Aminex would need to sell off no more than 19%? Meanwhile solos 25% will come into play at some stage.

No Max, it makes no difference to the cash position, there are X shares in issue, end of story, the only way to generate cash without enough production from KN-1 is, issue more shares, a loan or the current process underway, a FARMOUT with the Omanis. .

Max, JB has said in interview many times, he cares not about the day to day price movements and only about delivery of the plan. So probably aware but nothing they can do except deliver the Farmout (funding) and licence and then the SP will sort it self out based on material events.

Or maybe the sentiment he actualy expressed being the darkest hour is just before dawn.

Maybe crusty, I would have expected this to have been taken into consideration for both the Basin model and the IO development study (even if based on tentative step out drill results, geology and seismic) Wish they would publish a COS for both gas and then oil for C1 (wildcat status) The plan currently shows an 8 inch gas pipe and a later 12 inch pipe. Easy enough for one to be brought forward for oil, refinement would be the issue, but there is a port quite close and a new oil pipeline in the offing of course. A tentative strawman would be the least I would expect at this stage.

Yes willow 4 years ago but only in 2016 it was close to 1p and then the placing and open offer in July 16 @ 1.3p - wish I had more dosh to invest then! then NT-2 drill - back to back not..etc etc Sounds like a similar cycle this time round (even the dates are close 2016 V 18) but with a farmout being the preffered cash call option it seems. Take a look @ the SP movement during that last cycle, cash to drill and then compare to where Aminex is in this cycle. Waiting.....

Yes Crusty and I quite agree that any commercial oil find would lead to a parallel development plan and the licence covers " Hydrocarbons" and is not restricted to just gas I believe. I just find it hard to consider that they have agreed a deeper target and more expensive drill without assurance that a licence will be awarded forthwith, not necessarily a development licence I grant you. We continue to wait....money + licence....

Worse for who, current holders who bought above current price? well yes naturally, the current SP is hardly desirable but without a licence, understandable imo. However a licence = value in the asset V current market cap or not I suppose, for better or for worse, I have been buying at these prices, but thats just my risk V reward appetite. Bottom line is funding (farmout) + licence and away AEX goes. Do the bod give much thought to the current SP, probably not it would seem.

Nothing rose tinted Max, either they get funding and a licence to drill C1 or we all go home empty handed, this is what the market is pricing at the moment imo, no licence, no money and so the 2 TCF appraised so far is in limbo and valued bugger all. Fix one and you fix the other.

�590,000 is an expensive bluff caddy! I expect he is pretty smart, sees the value of the underlying asset V the market cap and reckons he will make a killing on his �590,000 invested, after all the market cap only just covers the cost of the discovery and apprisal of the 2 TCF found so far.

Another consideration is the deeper and additional oil being targeted @ C1 which surely must impact any development plan and therefore licence immensely? On one side, I see how maybe Aminex and the Zubairs could use this situation to help force the development licence, seems prudent to have this in place prior to drilling the deeper target, I always found it strange that although shown in the Feb presentation the intention was only to drill to 3000M and not to the potential oil target. This changed on the 9th of April RNS where they confirmed 3400M and the deeper target. What changed, the farmout negotiations or something else? Funding and licence is the bottom line, Loan, open offer or the current Farmout under negotiation + a licence, coupled with the rig tender completion and a spud date = happy days. GLA

lol Bluff, the open offer via primary bid was a complete joke and just another wiggle so NR can say I included PI's, who incidentally are most definitely last on the list of his priorities. Just waiting for the Ruvuma retierment fund to kick in and he is totaly dependent on Aminex's next move for that to kick off.. GLA
