Interesting post ( other than all the usual insults of course dunder) I think we are all aware of how much the Zubairs have invested to date, they invested at the same price as the rest of the share holders who took part in the open offer at the time. In retrospect to the successful NT-2 drill and the HUGE increase in resources, you could argue that the Zubairs are indeed very smart, there again I guess the same might apply to those that took up the open offer in 2016? Still appreciate your financial take on the deal and as you have highlighted, very complex. No wonder it is taking so long!

Patch, it was exactly the same part of the cycle, the SP dropped then from around 2.5p down to 1p prior to the funding and Zubair buy in and then went from 1p to 7.5p ish post drill. However at that time we all expected a back to back drill so sentiment was sky high to say the least. We are in the same situation now, waiting for funding and then a drill, oh and of course a licence to drill.

lol reaction thats the spirit. Would be interesting if an offer was placed as part of the PSA negotiations going on now with Aminex, the Zubair corp and the Tanz Government. A �50 million offer now would see shareholders at the current price make almost 400% profit.

A year in September if I remember correctly? Like I say out of the Bods hands although I am sure the Zubairs are applying pressure as well. Remember the GSA for KN-1? the waiting for that was all done to the GOV. Many are speculating that the 25 year development licence will not come in till post C-1 drill, others that it might be awarded as part of this complex farmout deal. Farmout and a licence to drill - then maybe we finally get a frill ;)

Strange, anyway NT-3 I would agree as it was meant to be back to back with NT-2 but the plan changed based on the size of the resources and oil cuttings they found. The development licence is all in the hands of the Tanzanian Gov. Aminex have done all they can and have the backing of the TPDC so not in the hands of the BOD. Farmout and licence to drill.

200 million post C1 drill and 25 year development licence is a possibility as is production from the 3 wells in 2019 but certainly not now. Still, lets see how much Aminex's farmout is for in $$$ that will be the benchmark.

Went from 1p to 7.5p last time we had an Omani funding to drill cycle so not really concerned about the SP today, would prefer it to be higher, but as cash becomes available elsewhere at least I know where to spend it ;)

The past is of course no indication of the future but we have been here before in this same cycle. Cast your mind back to this time in 2016 when Aminex were looking for funding for NT-2 From pre-funding to drill results the SP @ solo went from 4p equivalent to over 18p equivalent. Exactly the same part of that cycle is in play right now at Aminex, although the prefered funding this time appears to be a farmout with the Omani's funding & licence

Quite agree, but I do believe the com's doors are closed and locked during negotiations with the Zubairs and the TPDC and other members of the PSA (solo is = dead on com's right now - very unusual) Once the funding is complete then Aminex certainly have a lot to do to improve on communications and shareholder engagement

Deals are being put together behind closed doors. How much money is being transfered? Who is going to own what % of the PSA Will Aminex maintain operator status? Where, when and how much for solo's 25% to come into play. Maybe dead in the water right now,, a news black out no less, but a very interesting time. GL
