RE: Disposal of iow22 Jan 2019 11:37
"Based on the £350,000 consideration, Solo has made an investment return of 2.25 times its historical investment in IOW." Depends of course when they sell the UKOG shares and for how much?
IOW was last drilled in the 1970's and never tested and no plans to do anything with it till next year at the earliest anyway. Is it better to use the money to develop a proven and appraised resource with 35 million barrels 2C to solo and near term production or hang on till 2020 to spend money drilling for the 5 million barrels (IOW) 2C to solo?
If it they either sell Ruvuma or get Ruvuma into production, they can buy back in to the IOW after all the cost and risks have been negated and a well actualy flowed, which has not even been done yet.
Only time will tell, but at least no funding is required.
