It is confusing I agree, but it is the extension licence that is needed for the farmout and I expect the Gov are holding back the 25 year development licence till that farmout is complete as it confirms the funding for the full field development and the Zubairs spend of around $107 million developing the field.

If and a big IF solo maintain their 25% then earnings are forecast to be $160 million per year gross with $40 million to solo.

Sorry and meant to add, it is the extension licence that is a condition of the farmout for the Zubairs to become operator and not the 25 year development licence.

That was the 25 year licence steve - September 2017 not the extension licence which according to Aminex on Monday

Sorry I don't understand where the 16 months comes from then as that is only applicable to the 25 year development licence and not the licence extension that is a condition of the farmout?

steve I think you might be confusing the extension to the Mtwara licence with the 25 year development licence. We are waiting on both but it is only the extension licence that is a condition of the Farmout and not the 25 year development licence.

So extension licence first and hopefully very soon.

Another AIM O&G duster announced yesterday @ UPL/Boil in the search for oil and gas. SOLO has already discovered and appraised Millions of barrels of oil equivalent with 25% of 2TCF and 763 Billion Cubic feet 2C resources, so de-risked massively in comparison, despite parity in market cap with UPL - post duster.
