Not too bad steve, like you say savings could off set any loses in earnings, it all certainly shifts the way we think and good luck if you go for the business!
Ruvuma, gas prices are fixed locally so no impact in the contracted gas sales prices in Tanzania but it has all gone very quiet in the press regarding the PSA's, the TPDC are tweeting that they are expanding gas distribution but that's about it.
I don't see any deals for months due to any valuation being a moving target. We could do with some update on,
1.0 Did the meeting happen about the $6.7 million the gov owe over gas already sold, I am guessing not? 2.0 What if any interest have the BOD had regarding the sale of Ruvuma?
650 looks reasonable today. I expect everyone that was throwing the toys out of the pram over the divi are done, first Quarter earnings look good and full year is forecast to be the same levels as 2019.
Hope it is ot to much of an impact for you steve and it sounds like you will be keeping yourself busy. On the bright side, all those little jobs that you have been putting off, you now have the time to do and come the summer you will be able to kick back and relax knowing they are all done.
Yes Ammu, around $17 bpd, just surprised that RRE mcap is 3 almost 3 times below cash value, even half cash value would assume the poo price is stuck here for more than a year and would still only give a mcap of £124 mill V todays £85 Mill
RockRose Energy (RRE) issued an operations update. Cash at close of business on 25 March 2020 was £287 million, of which £248 million was unrestricted. They anticipate unit operating costs of around $30 per barrel of oil equivalent in 2020 and at least $50 million capital expenditure will be deferred. Current market capitalisation is £85 million.
Hurricane Energy (HUR) reconfirmed that it has a strong balance sheet, including $164.3 million of unrestricted cash at 18 March 2020 Their current market capitalisation is £213 million.
All fine thanks Steve and I hope the same for you. Going to be spending plenty of time in my garden as the weather improves and this lockdown is on, thank goodness for healthy diversions!
I am getting almost everything delivered online at the moment and have an inbound cleaning process for each delivery before it gets touched by hand.
Hi Steve, glad to hear you are fine . All the Bod can do is hunker down, cut G&A to a minimum and continue to pursues the sale of Ruvuma. There are going to be some cheap assets available at the end of all this that will present an opportunity for those that are prepared.
$7.2 is that not what the Gov owe the JV? Where are the bod with the meeting regarding the $6.7 million (before interest) owed for gas already supplied? At least the exchange rate is having a positive impact at £5.67 Mill
