If we had closed the one dyas deal last summer and were producing with falling prices way outside the business model or if we had oil production it would make more sense. It's a Bog roll market and it is what it is.

Another suspension about now would be most welcome BOD! If not, cut G&A to a miimum and Hunker down.

It does look like the 2 drills that discovered almost 2TCF GIIP and 763 BCF were dusters, or never happened at all opposite.

Might as well not bothered drilling based on current SP numbers.

Where are Aminex with this "Scheduled gov meeting" Although the BOD say fully funded for 2020, that extra $600,000 owed for gas already supplied would be nice and would also be a positive sign ref PSA's and licence.

Not much logic in a bog roll hoarding market Hardnose, you take your chances. Plenty of bargains out there on all markets if you get the timing right on a recovery.

There is no logic to the current market as it's based on sentiment, a bit like Bog roll hoarding.

Maybe they already drilled C1 through the Jurassic and discovered huge quantities of oil, that would explain it vike ;0)

That's not what I said Hardnose, I said everything is possible but nothing is real till it happens, as in speculation about the impact of future covid 19 cases on domestic gas production in Tanzania.

As for the Gov, well they were all out yesterday looking at their gas to power plant capacity extension so I see no evidence of your negative speculation as of today.

I honestly don't see anyone else taking over Aminex either, not when the Zubairs already own just under 30%, still it would be lovely to see some competition and a bidding war, but it seems highly unlikely and highly speculative imo.

You can't rule anything out, everything is possible but nothing is real hardnose,well at least until it has happened & it does not fit what the Zubairs are saying, unless of course they are just lying.
Will there be a huge impact to domestic gas production for power in Tanzania? Who knows, does not seem likely at the moment and pricing is not impacted as it is not linked to Nat gas or oil but fixed price that only increases with us CPI.

Plenty of slow progress reported from the contract reviews completed to the PSA drafts completed. As for signed PSA's, who knows, all gone very quiet.

Yes, probably not a good space to already be in & a lucky escape, imagine if they had sealed the deal last summer! Still there could be some nice cheap North sea assets 4 sale soon. The BOD will have to time any possible offers carefully though.

A nasty market for most stocks and O&G have taken a huge hammering, don't see many winners at the moment but if you have some cash there are likely to be some bargains on turnaround like in 2009.

Quite agree mj42 and pretty much the conclusion by the publication in November and supported by a prof from Dara University.

That $30 bn investment by the majors in off shore looks further away by the day.
