With the deal completed, Asiamet will be established in-country, partnered with DOID for 51% of Indokal a subsidiary of ARS and satisfying Indonesian ownership requirements from the off. Given DOID's capabilities, track record, rate of expansion, consumate ease in raising capital and a newly acquired appetite for mine ownership and operation, will provide a solid platform into the future for ARS and it's 49%. But this is not the whole story, it is only the beginning.
Asiamet remains independent and retains an 80% holding in Beutong, a Tier 2 copper/gold asset also in Indonesia on the island of Sumatra. Potential here to increase to a Tier 1 with minimal drilling scheduled for H2 of this year.
