BCM will pay Oriole a first resource payment (Success Payment) of US$1m with the release of a 1 million ounce JORC classified resource at Mbe.

Additional Success payments of US$1m each will be due for each addional million ounces up to 5 million ounces increasing in value for the remaining five to 10 million ounces. A maximum of US$20m is payable to Oriole on a 10 million ounce JORC classified resource.

The wet season is coming to an end and a new drilling/exploration programme Mbe-N and more is about to begin where Oriole could deliver multiple million ounces. Oriole also has the option to dilute as an alternative to spend if need be.

Logic being, Luansobe is on the border with the DRC. Sink a shaft at this location (the deeps), a suitable distance from the mine/processing complex, revenues from the open-pit could finance this, then exploit the offerings between this shaft and the Henderson shaft at Mufulira and keep this mine operational for another 100 years.

Maybe CB took his lead from IRH and 5 months until the Mufulira Plant is fully sorted and ready to accept additional ore feed.

Acquisition makes sense as the ground between the mine/processing facility and Luansobe is licenced to them. Start with Luansobe and work back towards the mine offers some logic.

For Luansobe, IRH purchased 51% of Mopani approximately two and a half years ago which corresponded well with any likely outcome at Luansobe. However, recent reports state the processing facilties are not yet upto capacity producing only two thirds (cathode) of the budgeted target this latest reporting period giving reasons an Oxygen plant was shutdown for three months over the winter.

Mufulira by dump truck over rough ground is around thirty minutes away making it the most probable route to market imo albeit an outright sale, third party toll treatment or any combination thereof. IRH/Mopani must have their priorities, treatment works running to satisfaction first then source further ore feed supply from elsewhere later.

Indonesia are attempting to create a 'go-to' hub for metals or atleast for Nickel at this time. Plentiful supply into the market for a reduced price gives a larger share and therefore maintains profit through volume and not margin. However, margins have been reduced further this year with a trebling in price of Sulphuric Acid used in the HPAL process.

With Indonesia's intention to further increase production by >30% next year, is a significant plus for Asiamet as a feedstock supplier of concentrate to the Nickel industry. Located in-country, without the barriers to trade, import/export restrictions or tariffs.
