Located in Western Zambia, dominated by the Main Fault and it's associated Splay Fault is identified as a potential feeder structure for a buried IOCG (Iron Oxide Copper-Gold) mineralised system.

The historic Kalengwa copper mine, an IOCG type deposit currently being revived is 80 km NW of Shinganda and is purported to be the highest grade copper mine in Zambia yielding 27% Cu.

The Kitumba copper mine 100 km SE of Shinganda is to go into production next year is another IOCG type deposit with a resource of 27.9mt @ 2.2% Cu (614kt contained).

IOCG deposits are attractive to major mining companies for a variety of reasons. Primarily it is their immense size and scale, polymetalic nature, decades long LOM and simple metallurgy inherent in IOCG deposits and are therefore low cost and low risk. For example, Olympic Dam an IOCG style deposit in Australia is host to the world's largest Uranium resource, fourth largest copper resource and fifth largest gold resource. Shinganda obviously not the size and scale of the above, but an intriguing play none the less.

The western edge of the Central African Copperbelt in the DRC hosts the Western Foreland Shelf, where the Kamoa - Kakula Complex, the world's second largest copper mineand the Makoko and Kiala later copper discoveries are located. It is believed this geological formation continues to arc southwest into Zambia and Angola, areas that remain completely unexplored. 175 km of potential strike length between Kamoa - Kakula and Ivanhoe's furthest land grab in Angola placing the Galileo prospect for 520 sq km licence 28001 - HQ - LEL central and in prime position to this world class, new frontier exploration domain.

What does this mean for Galileo?

The copper price is rising, supply is tightening and the Majors are on the hunt for new Tier-1 resources. The Western Province in Zambia is heaving at this time with geological teams in pursuit of the next substantial find. Should Galileo drill just a single hole revealing anything like the grade or thickness found at Kamoa-Kakula then there would be an avalanche of interest in the company and project.

Most Lth can probable match 5 years, a good entry point was the KCB licence acquisitions. However, the market rallied around 2019/20, the pandemic hit and for the majority of mining junior's it has been grim ever since.

Prices have increased markedly and the outlook has improved by some. Promotion is needed to get this company out of the rut it's been in all that time. How are your marketing skills? If can do not harm and put Galileo back on the radar.

Interest is increasing in Galileo's portfolio of projects from within the industry including HNW individuals and even Consultants are now requesting shares in place of cash as payment is a show of support for the company. To say it straight, the worst fear a retail investors has when browsing amongst mining explorer/developers for new investment opportunities is dilution. Placings, warrants, subscriptions for junior's in a weak market and underperforming sector can lead to sizeable discounts on the share price.

Prior to the recent placing in mid September the last time Galileo raised capital in this way was 1st June'21, four and a half years ago. Since then Galileo has supported itself through asset sales (2) putting over £7.5M into the bank account. The sector for junior explorer/developers has been subdued for sometime, pandemic and all, a period Galileo successfully navigated where others failed and now, at last, conditions are improving as evidenced by the sudden uptake in JV's and strong support for the capital raise.

Oversubscribed, new strategic backers, director participation are all indicators execution risk has been considerably reduced projecting Galileo into rapid growth mode from the steady-state. The Ferber collaboration will provide income for the company in future times and progression towards asset realisation, monetisation and deals are what lies ahead. A sale at Luansobe, a deal with the Chinese at Kamativi or a production agreement with local artisanals at Kash itu are all on the cards leaving dilution a distant memory.

By and large, as the majority stakeholder the retail trade own this company. The destiny (success or failure) to a degree therefore, is in the hands of the retailers. When 3 RNS's arrive in quick succession with positive news on two prospects, given the inherent moaning over communication and commitment, it came as a surprise the narrative was so downbeat reflected in the lack share traded volume which amounted to zilch.

The sector is warming-up, other junior's have started to rise, Galileo is static and waiting for the cavalry to come over the hill with a big , fat juicy prize is not the way to go.
