Let me assure ya'll the Canadian share market is not holding Centamin's price back on the FTSE. The Toronto volumes are unimaginably small and unfortunately have been for years.

An official source at the General Authority for Mineral Resources said that it is planned to issue the executive regulations of the Mineral Resources Law during the current month.
According to the source, who requested anonymity, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, in cooperation with the authority, has finalized the executive regulations to amend the Mineral Resources Law, provided that it is submitted during the current month to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers for approval.

I take comfort in the fact management can't blow off regulators like they can blow off shareholders. Who knows, maybe it was heat from the regulators that got Mr Pardey fired, er, I mean 'let go'

Yes - I was surprised by the retweet.

Personally I like Mr. Sawiris. He's been screwed by many a crooked politician both in Egypt and abroad (including Canada - his failed mobile carrier attempt was a shame and a loss for Canadians! But I digress.)

I was going to say here's a man that is both savvy in pursuing his investments but also holds many good social values. That said I do not want Endeavor to EVER get their hands on Centamin at any price. They have nothing to offer but loads of debt and the transaction would be value destructive for Centamin.

I think Centamin is well positioned to go it alone - especially in Egypt. If you remember I was of the opinion that Centamin's profit sharing agreement with Egypt cannot continue AS IS if the new executive regulations suddenly make it more attractive for new mining companies to invest. My guess is that Mr Sawiris shares that opinion.

The real question for us shareholders is how far are Centamin's current board members are willing to go to protect us. The regulators in Canada & London have been made aware of my concerns. They have made Centamin aware of shortcomings in the past regarding reporting standards and I have confidence they will step in if needed.

One more thing while you are reading this: Have you any idea what the following tweet is referring to? Perhaps the ground works for some new project?

I do agree management should give very careful consideration as to which deposit they develop first. And I am not bothered if they take their time to do some homework BUT that should not include a serious lack of disclosure.

Remember, we have not been given a reserve update in Burkina Faso since the assets belonged to Ampella - that's like 7 years ago. How can that be possible especially since we were promised the results of a scoping study over TWO years ago?!

Call me suspicious but withholding a resource update after you've spent dang near a hundred million in exploration AND failing to calculate an estimate of the cumulative ounces from hundreds of thousands of meters of very good drill results is definitely not in the best interest of shareholders.

It would however benefit very much any entity wishing to take over these assets without paying for them. I'm thinking Sawiris. I'm thinking La Mancha.

Add that failure of disclosure to the long dragged out failure to replace our Chairman (and now CEO departure?) and you start to piece together the makings of a coup.

I think the only piece of the puzzle that could not be controlled was the Egyptian gov't continuous stalling to pass more favorable mining terms. But that change is imminent . If we can gain the intervention of regulators before the coup can take place we will save ourselves from a serious loss.

32,896,799 shares does not represent 29% of Centamin as we have over a billion shares outstanding - this is a disclosure of how many shares La Mancha owns of Endeavor.

The following concerns have not been addressed despite repeated attempts to engage Alexandra Carse of 'Investor Relations' and more recently CFO Ross Jerrard :

1) Why has the Scoping Study for Batie West Project been shelved? It was promised to be released in 2018

2) Why has there not been an updated resource estimate in Burkina Faso despite a vast amount of exploration drilling over numerous years?

3) Why has the Doropo economic feasibility study been delayed? It was promised to be released in October 2019

Releasing this data as promised would have had a significant effect on the share price.

Failure to share this information will be an ongoing concern for both shareholders and regulators alike.

Nice of you to drop in whilst Centamin is in the news but it is you who are way out of your element. Centamin has many merits but one it lacks recently is credibility.
Only results will confirm or disprove our hopes for the share price.

Also, you owe Rebess an apology. He is looking out for new investors who ought to be fair warned.

150p for Centamin is most definitely not in the best interest of shareholders big or small. For that matter neither is 300p

The beauty of Centamin's strategy was and still is discipline i.e. controlling costs and not going into debt. Anybody can build a mine. Precious few have returned $ 500 million in dividends to shareholders over such a short period.

If we can avoid being stolen we'll do far better than Endeavor has in share price appreciation because our assets are infinitely superior.

Sébastien de Montessus, the French boss of Canadian gold firm Endeavour Mining, is being investigated over a scandal at Areva, the state-owned French nuclear firm, after a disastrous takeover.

French officials are looking in to whether De Montessus, who runs Toronto-listed Endeavour from London, bribed a foreign public official and engaged in corruption at Areva. He denies the allegations.

I had posted the following back in May 2018 - I wish management had listened. If shareholders are forced to accept an offer in the coming weeks our share price would have reflected A MUCH HIGHER STARTING POINT.

Andrew, please be aware there are many long term shareholders like me who want to see share price appreciation. As such we are of the opinion a share buyback program would be a prudent use of funds, especially considering the substantial drop in market capitalization.

Here's the criminal part - management has details of literally hundreds of thousands of meters of core samples from Burkina Faso deposits which have never officially been added to the reserves. Remember, management has held back this data for YEARS.

This no doubt would artificially deflate our share price.

If we do not get a resource update from Burkina Faso prior to another offer from Endeavor or rival you can bet shareholders deserve a class action lawsuit to discover why the resource updates have been suppressed.

Understandable that you don't want to comment on the gossip out there. This deal could go any which way and there will be some who haven't followed along this journey very long who could buy now and wait, wait, wait, wait.... ;-)

I find it exceedingly weird and disturbing that Naguib Sawiris is utilizing his personal twitter account (which happens to have 6 million followers!) to retweet tweets from Aton Resources (which has 500 followers) regarding the Endeavor 'offer' and its benefit to Egypt , acceptance by Ministry of Mines Al-Mulla, the unwillingness of Centamin to hold talks, etc..

What the h*ll connection does Aton have with Sawiris?
