What is this new Trump tax you are suggesting. Tax foreign companies investing in the US will hit inward investment so it can't be that. Tax companies selling oil to the US? Well that's the sort of harebrained scheme he would suggest but seriously!! Best TACO idea yet.

I was also among the profit-takers today but limited this to the shares I bought two weeks ago (kept the surplus as an extra dividend) and acquired a decent CGT credit worth about twice the profit I made on those shares. Still some upside to come here but the dividend reinvestment stream will now start to dry up so the SP may drift a little over the coming months.

Board approval for any deal should require approval by the 6 members not associated with the bid. If Board members who are part of the bid would be conflicted so should not be approving it. As was previously mentioned, with lawyers present they will be aware of actions that might jeopardise their legal accreditation - such as a legal challenge or regulatory intervention.

A busy week coming so let's wait to see what is tabled.

Hard to say whether the war is wider than it was on Friday but I think oil prices have further to rise which means markets down (more for travel stocks) while energy and defence should be up.

It's not statistically significant but I ran through all of this week's recommendation to test how the SP reacted.

I thought we had established that the Roan capacity is in two parts, oxides and sulphides; together accounting for the 14kt pa. If the material they have is largely oxides, they hit a much lower capacity

This sounds like a mining operation, but the only ones I've heard talk about are Munkoyo and Project G so not sure what figures I being quoted for the mysterious Project M

Is there anyone here who has even passed the professional qualification required to be an analyst? Easy to criticise things you know little about but to suggest that you are paying for it is ludicrous. As for there being different views on the expected 12-mth share price, well I suppose there are even more different views on this very board. Why is it surprising that analysts from different companies - who are using the same information available to all of us - have different views on the prospects for a given stock.

Note that it includes the statement "...Bango has secured a further six new DVM customers, including a leading telco in South Korea, ..." but the article predated the RNS issued this week. Did we get any advance warning of the KT deal?

My confession, I too am an Actuary and my understanding of copper extraction is limited to what I have read here or from listening to Leon.

Of course, ActuaryB, you've got other investments and this isn't 75% of your retirement pot - if it is I would go back to "brain-thinking" rather than "gut-thinking". From experience, the latter is full of 5h!t ;-). Anything over 5% is, for me, overweight.

Maybe not the best time to sell as there's a little shake-up on the go with investors leaving. But don't risk everything on things you can't control.

I've seen the odd day's delay in some companies which I presume is just them being a little slow at allocating their dividend to the respective accounts.

Just be a little patient for the share price to tick up. It did the same yesterday.

Nothing to see here. If anything, it was a buying opportunity as the SP sets of towards 300p. Maybe a little pricey for me to be going overweight but there will be others looking at these prices thinking they have a loaded bet.

I disagree. These longer term claims are where the value of the company lurks - the 10% decile of cases that yield 300%+ deployed capital.

End of day auction to establish a closing price. Price set based on a a range of buy and sell price in order to maximise number of shares traded. Think of it as the median price of the sale meeting the median price of the buy. At least that's how I understand it.

Lots of automated dividend reinvestment takes place in the days following the receipt of the dividend - eg AJ Bell execute two days after dividend receipt - so the real buying spree may not start till next week. Still plenty of room for optimism that the price will move up in the next few trading sessions, if not tomorrow,

The good news is that the market agrees on this too. It's nice when that happens.
