I think over the past few months some ‘get rich quick’ merchants are trying to buy then sell as soon as the price rises. This is depressing the price. As this stock has a finite amount of shares, the more we buy and hold will be good for the sp in the longer term.

Do you really think they will be buying today?

Secondary watch prices are plummeting, so I expect that profits will be down significantly when Wosg next report.

There are lots of big buys in the last hour. Do they know something we don’t know…….yet?

I don’t know much about shorting but surely QCM will be losing an awful lot of money now? Won’t they have to admit defeat and pull out quite soon?

Well, after a day of excitement, hope and disappointment, I end the day with my shares back in the red. I can’t see what else H&W can do to boost the share price.

I think the problem is the aim. It’s like the Wild West and defies all logic.

I may be wrong, but don’t institutions have a couple of days to report changes in company holdings? They could have reduced on Friday and the rns could be released on Monday.

In the FT today analysts at Panmure Gordon said “we believe the replacement will need to be an external hire, meaning difficult decisions need to be made in the absence of a leader or more likely delayed “. they also said the management had over distributed capital through share buybacks before inflation and bad weather fuelled claims costs, while some peers had seemingly acted faster to confront the problem.

The next few months are going to be tough for this company. A new CEO needs to be found and given time to sort this mess out. Institutions that rely on dividends will be considering their positions and possibly reducing their exposure. I sold my shares today and fully expect the price to drop to around the 150.00 mark. If that happens I will probably buy back in, but no dividend doesn’t make the company very appealing.
