Mufuta, totally agree with the extended use of PPE for you and your families safety.
At the start of the lockdown it amazed me to watch people incorrectly use PPE, either thinking wearing gloves stopped the virus entering their hands but still touching everything, including using mobile phones or wearing their masks on the chin so it either didn't cover mouth, nose or both.
"Freedom Day" I think is going to be the reverse, as people ditch the protection they have been using but carry on with their lives now unprotected. As others on here have mentioned we are heading to another spike, how big it is there are too many unknown variables and something I would be interested in modeling.
I live just down the road from Silverstone so see the park and ride happening each year. Will be interesting to see how the buses operate and if mask wearing happens as all these fans mix closely with each other on the hot journey to and from the circuit.
We only have to see from the Euro celebrations with people hugging each other in pubs that cases have now started to increase in specific age/genders.
Having been to visit family back in the Westcountry last month, my Mother now 'two jabbed' thinks she can't get it as that is what the news is telling her and was amazed that I did a RLFT before arriving and before departure to ensure I wasn't bringing anything with me or taking anything back.
We are indeed a petri dish as a nation, a very patriotic petri dish so it will be interesting to see what happens. Personally I will carry on with mask wearing and keeping away from people to minimise risk.
I'm the same, always try to round up to nearest 10,100,1000 when buying and adding to stock so the Portfolio looks neat.
I sometimes have had to resist straightening pictures in Ikea if they're badly aligned as it makes my OCD itch!! LOL
Just returned from the West Country from after visiting with family after nearly 18 months and now back to the 9 till 5. Totally agree it is a wonderful place.
Great post and work Num4 thank you.
Posts like this (and from many others, you know who you are) is why I've been reading and ultimately enjoyed learning from this BB.
A refreshing change to have more good data and science back on the page rather than the regurgitated drivel from new accounts over the last week.
With all the news around the corner and all the support from the regular LTH whom have kept me sane whilst the SP bobbles about over the last year, I could have sold out many times. Instead i'm currently trying to move the final holdings into the ISA for the long game, with fear of it shooting up and leaving me on the launch pad.
Best of luck with the appointment Krusty, have had a scare myself previously so fingers crossed for you.
Personally I would sell my current house as only have a small mortgage remaining. I would then buy a home for me and the wife to live out the rest of our days mortgage free.
Afternoon Lazarus, all good and nothing personal - Loving the Jethro quote too.
Is good to see Blue and as Aberystwyth mentioned with June starting after the long BH weekend the chance of FOMO is strong as we end the last week of May.
I had been hoping for a final dip to get one last top up and then move into ISA before sitting back and watching what happens. GLA

Thanks Peak for all the good info. I don't have much time to spend in here but it's always reassuring to see hard facts from yourself and a selection of other familiar names.
Thanks Schalf, good to see the familiar LTHs happy and share the energy.
Am sure many of you have noticed there has also been a new wave of people happy to see suffering with the SP drop, I have leaned that difficult times always bring out the true colours of people.
Best wishes to everybody.
Hello Doc, hope you're well.
The only real disappointments for me yesterday was the SP to drop and finish a smidgen above my average SP along with the small top up I did on Wednesday when I could have got it cheaper if I had waited, but if I had know that I would have sold everything in the week and doubled my holding ready for the eventual climb.
Like you here for the long term.
AZ and his team have been working on this for years, many of us have been invested for ages.
Perfection can't be rushed and there have been a few set backs, which have been dealt with.
If anybody here has ever project managed, you would know that with all the best plans things happen that weren't expected or in the FMEA.
This is AZ's baby and he will announce to get the best for SYME. I've waited for long enough a few more hours won't hurt.
GLALTH
Why do the reprint articles from the Motley Fool, it's just click bait and not worth the 3mins to read.
See the Tweet from AZ after getting my Astra Zeneca vaccination, if the AZ isn't an omen I don't know what else is so did an unplanned top up.
GLALTH, see you on the journey.
Guessing i'm not going to get my final top up at 0.46 today...!
After FAR yesterday this has been a better week, long may it continue for us all.
Same here, had my buy point and didn't think it would happen but it fell through it first thing this morning.
This is one of my long term futures and I have great hopes for this. Been here since low 30s, hopefully we don't go back down any further else I will have to think about buying some more.
