at 4p last week in my ISA and the children's. Hopefully they will thank me one day.
Well what a difference a week makes. SP climbing , more confidence (all due to PC) and a brighter future (although not guaranteed) . Well worth the risk as the recent large buyers must feel. My only suggestion is that PC sets up 6 monthly meetings with AK when he is in the UK . It just goes to show , good communication is fundamental for any Company.
well said . I do wonder sometimes why some people seem intent on just being plain nasty.
PC Thank you for the honest update If only AK would do this more often After reading your feedback several times feel a lot more positive
no he is 70 so I do not think so. Suspect he sees some growth. AK in the UK and then this pops up. Coincidence of course.

Fingers crossed AK keeps his Wednesday appointment. Realise he is a busy man but with your number of shares ,he should be making time to meet with you. If you have submitted a list of questions and the meeting is cancelled on Wednesday, alarm bells will start ringing!
PCO1 Do you have a time and venue to meet AK please. If it is in London central wondering if it is worth meeting up around lunchtime if possible.
Thanks
PCO1 -Not very different from the topics you have mentioned but here is my two pennyworths
1 Existing Licenses- Murata, AVX, TDK and Spire- each Company has an existing license agreement with CPX. What indication has they each given on likely sales revenue to CPX over the next three years? What market research have they provided to verify any future potential revenue and should not CPX be making this public?
2 New Licenses- How many are in actual negotiations and what percentage are in an advanced stage? Which areas of CPX IP do they cover? I do not expect any names but we should be given an indication and more accurate timescales.
3 Revenue Shortfall- CPX recently received funding via a share sale of circa £1.5m . We were informed that this was to do with increasing direct production . Nothing seems to have happened. What is going on? Was the original idea to replace what Murata had stopped producing ? If so was not Murata decision to stop producing CPX licensed parts not a matter which warranted an RNS? Is this the reason for the shortfall in income?
4 Automotive- Mentioned many times in various updates and RNS statements (stop start systems etc) over the years but no contracts. What has happened ? Is there any life left in this field for CPX or are they flogging a dead horse?
5 Communication – The lack of communication and zero replies to emails sent to CPX direct has had an adverse impact on the share price ,18p to 5p. What steps will CPX take to improve communications in order that investors can make informed investment decisions? The lack of communication makes any criteria a bit of a wing and a prayer.
I am sure that there are many other areas which need to be addressed but hope this assist in trying to have some order to the questions .
I look forward to hearing from you after the meeting and that it proves worthwhile even if no confidential information will be forthcoming. Good luck.
I will send you my list by end of play tomorrow to this board.
PC01 Just reread your email. The date is Monday 15 April. I look forward to hearing the time and place. I have a meeting at 3pm that day, I cannot avoid . I have received an email from the Trading Dutchman, who while he cannot attend is keen for any updates thereafter. Happy to take the morning off
PC01 I do not have your level of shares but still a chunky number circa 2m . I too do not wish the young lady bombarded with emails otherwise that may scare AK off.
If you could email me with your arranged date and time to zuluofficer@gmail.com then may be we could find a way to co-ordinate meeting with AK or at least meet up beforehand. This may also be a good idea for any others as well who could use the above email address to confirm whether they to would like to meet or have a spokesperson represent them. An idea !
Are you meeting AK in the UK when he is visiting in April . If so I will also email Allenby to ask to see him.
for emailing CPX about the Chinese venture is that it is probably dead and therefore should they chose there is no reason not to give an update and it will only take a few seconds.
Emailed CPX about
Dear Sir/Madam
I refer to the agreement signed in February 2012 in relation to automotive start stop with a leading Chinese Company .
An extract of your release in 2012 is below :
27th February 2012
CAP-XX Limited
Automotive Stop-Start commercialisation agreement
CAP-XX Limited, a world leader in the design and manufacture of revolutionary thin-form supercapacitors, which considerably extend the performance of conventional battery power systems, announces that it has been approached by a leading Chinese automotive component company to commercialise the CAP-XX supercapacitor technology for various automotive applications in China. The first target market is for the use of supercapacitors to improve the performance of lead acid batteries in automotive Stop-Start applications. CAP-XX recently demonstrated significant performance enhancements over conventional battery only Stop-Start systems.
The discussions, which are at an advanced stage and are subject to Chinese Government approval, are expected to secure funding for CAP-XX's automotive supercapacitor project possibly by a direct investment in CAP-XX equity. Any new shares to be issued under the proposed agreement would be issued under the terms of the Group's existing authority to allot shares.
A further announcement will be made in due course.
Can you provide an update please as to what happened to this venture as I cannot see that there has been any further news over the last 7 years.
One day they may answer an email!
is having its say about the RNS. SP dropping . Patience is running thin. CPX needs hard contracts soon or we will be down to 5p by May. I do wonder even then whether the market has just forgotten about CPX and is a bit fed up with the Company .. Also AK is now getting on a bit. This is his last hurrah in my opinion so I am surprised he has not succeeded in delivering new contracts. We just do not seem able to break into the market big time. Lots of great IP but no real takers. Hope I am wrong but we appear to be slowly dying. Rant over
I was a bit optimistic about May
Any bets on when we will be down in the 5's Possibly then a top up but will have to think very hard before I put any more money in.
As someone noted CPX are receiving royalties from TDK but no figures mentioned due to the agreement being confidential. Talk about clarity.. Previous RNS said in line with others . We just do not know. AK not doing himself any favours here but I note he is in the UK. Any chance of meeting up and asking some serious questions and I will be there. Suspect the II's have asked him to do some explaining. So happy to speak to them but leave us PI's in the dark.
Humble-I should add that my fear is that CPX is just too small to become a big player and the big contracts go elsewhere. AK has to deliver in 2019. I know a lot is in the pipeline, creditcards Prizcap etc but after so many years even the II's must be getting a bit p*****d off.
