to 12p. Someone taking profit I guess. Keep those buys coming
they appear to be keeping the SP down to fulfil their order. If we could break 11 and stay there it would be good.
If my assumption is correct and Spire received circa 400,000 units then if sales go well with the distribution in Apple stores and online then Spire should be placing another order with CPX before Christmas for more Thinline 6mm units.
I can find as to Thinline price .SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - May 18, 2015) - CAP-XX ( LSE : CPX ), developer of flat supercapacitors for burst and back-up power in space-constrained electronic devices, today launched its Thinline series of single-cell supercapacitors. The world's thinnest at 0.6mm thick, and with prices starting at less than US$1 in large volumes, Thinline was developed to address the size, weight and cost challenges of designing thin, sometimes disposable electronic devices for the Internet of Things (IoT). Examples include wearables (medical, fitness and health monitors, smart watches, drug delivery systems), portables (active credit cards, smartphones, RFID tags), and connected electronics (smart homes and smart buildings, electronic shelf labels, wireless sensor networks).
Assuming 0.4M was dollars then circa 400,000 units will not be far off.
not at 20p. Great RNS but we do not have lift off . Bubble above head. Spire still have to sell their product which needs marketing and to be the must have product. Not difficult when you are aligned with Apple. CPX supplied 400,000 units which will (if they have traction in sales) be quickly used up in distributing to Apple stores and online sales. Thus I believe 20p will be achieved when CPX receive the next order for more units which again, if these things sell should be before Christmas ? Results update shortly and another contract pre Christmas plus any other news which would be the icing on the cake. In brief we may have to wait a few more months to see 20p. Comments anyone.
you wonder if CPX will ever hold any gains. Hey ho there is always tomorrow but it is annoying!
When CPX has made me very rich. I concur that over the next 12 months we should receive a lot more news in terms of revenue and contracts. About time though for all us LTH.
Hope you don't mind Welsh but the Champagne is on hold till we have some firm news as AK has let us down too often. Hopefully very sooooooooon LOL. Let's hope we really do receive some news.
Welsh
What's the penalty if nothing is reported this week. Free French wine for all investors for a year.
World is nigh according to some. Yes we are all angry at AK but AIM is like this. Sell up if you are worried and do not look at the SP in 12 months time . You may do something harmful to yourself.
Let's be honest . I think just about everyone is fed up having no news from AK. We have excellent license agreements in place with Murata and AVX. However on the new contract front AK has let us down for whatever reason ..I posted some months ago that without news we would head back to 8p. I am a LTH but like many will review my position at Christmas if no news has been delivered. We know their are lots of irons in the fire and they have world class products with lots of enquiries . It would appear though that turning these into contracts is proving difficult . Whether this is due to price, competition or just technology moving very fast I do not know. What I do know is that market sentiment is clear. No new contracts equals no jump in the SP. What I do find surprising is no Allenby report. Now this makes me think that something is around the corner and they are waiting for this to be announced otherwise it would have been published by now. Anybody with contacts with Allenby care to find out?

Big thank you to Dutch for the photos
Saying this is what is in the pen but does show Samsung undertaking their own R&D in conjunction with a Korean University and it is the fast charging which caught my eye

If we hear nothing and see big buys then that may be a clue G
A small isa top up Let’s hope we do receive some good news as we are still only trying to put the dots together but some excellent research guys Pity AK has his hands tied until any device is formally released As another LTH said we got it wrong with the S8 so here’s hoping and fingers crossed Love to know who the large buyer was as you must have some confidence to pump that sort of money in If we receive no news then the SP will drift back to 8p What a horrible number and Profit will burst a blood vessel Gut feeling that we will hear something by the end of August
This will not be a popular comment. If Spire have restarted production and already sold the first 400000 units who is supplying the capacitor. If cpx was then we would have had an Rns. Could it be that a rival has supplied Spire and hence the recent court action by CPX Views welcome
Mr Lau is still noted on CPX site as key personnel. Working from his linkedln site he finished University in 1972 . Assuming he was 21 then this would place him at the ripe old age of 66.
