Hi Newgrange
Thank you for your input today. There are very few if any who have an understanding of Patent Law on this Board bar you. Like many other LTH’s still trying to get my head around the consequences of yesterday’s decision. You will have seen an invitation from Trading Dutchman to join the him and others who own 10% of CPX ( and that includes me) . Considerable success has been achieved in communicating previously with the Board. I can vouch for TD as can others on this board and your experience in respect of the legal matters would be greatly appreciated . We are in the throws of compiling a list of questions covering the Court case, cash flow and contracts to send to CPX .
Your contribution would be greatly appreciated if you feel able to take up TD’s invitation
cheers for the link hard to see how cpx can survive especially with tesla suing them . very ****ed off
If CPX have lost then their patents are worthless. Expect a nosedive in the SP to 0.5. Hard to see how CPX will survive
As open states the so is less than 2p . Nothing to write home about. Also no one has a clue how the Court case will turn out. It is and always has been the issue that CPX cannot sell the ruddy units to anyone of substance in large volumes. A few contracts with IOT companies has not produced any revenue The new CEO is trying to rectify that. The former CEO got the boot along with one of the other Directors because their promise of sales were complete rubbish . I suspect that one or two of the institutional investors got together and informed CPX that Kongats had to go after years of failure. This court case has been hanging around our necks for 4 years . Even if we win Lars still has to sell the ruddy units in large volumes Let’s hope he does
Firstly as a LTH, I hope CPX win . However, like many other LTH's here , CPX has let us down at nearly every turn and I will only believe it when any compensation is in CPX's bank account. Until then I will remain a cynic as any trial by Jury can go either way, even if the arguments for, sound powerful.
The above is read out on the appointment to the people to be appointed to be the Jury. Looks like Maxwell have failed in stopping the Court case proceeding. What I do not know is whether in part they have managed to stop CPX claiming compensation from earning from outside the USA , I do not know
Hopefully we will find out about 2pm UK time if the Court case is continuing. If not then CPX will have to issue an RNS if the Court does not make an announcement.
News of further contracts and tie ups. Interesting it all appears to fall around the dates of the Court case. Apart from obtaining , hopefully a shed load of compensation , the importance of winning this case hands down is vital to CPX's future.
With CPX's track history of failing to translate contracts into viable long term profits, I am not confident of them winning a large slab of compensation, for no other reason other than every time we believe CPX is on the cusp of something big, it never happens. If CPX lose the case , then cash flow will become critical in the next 6 months. The former CEO promised so much jam and never delivered. Just look at when CPX took over the machinery and production from Murata. We were told that CPX would keep circa 60% of the customers , which would translate into roughly Aus $12m of turnover. Complete ******. and has been ever thus. Lars , I suspect knows his business but should have been brought in about 4 years ago. Just hope it is not too late but fear the worst.
No RNS. This says it all. When it comes to cashflow CPX will lose and Tesla knows it. The action , if taken forward will suck CPX dry within months. Again no RNS has to be interpreted that the CPX board is in shock and knows their days are numbered. Only hope left is that Tesla buys CPX out for between 5 to 10p but I am not going to hols my breath. The new CEO must be swearing loudly. . The action will also hit any possible sales in the pipeline . I hope I am wrong but CPX looks finished.
The SP will not move much until after December. Lets hope there is no more delay as CPX will run out of cash and have to dilute the number of shares to keep going. I suspect there are no new contracts to report and therefore income will continue to remain terrible for the rest of 2023. Lets face it, AK promised much but actually only delivered the new manufacturing site but failed to sell any units. Poor show and led us up the garden path with comments like new contracts shortly etc. Very poor CEO ,in my opinion

Can you elaborate please as to your understanding or are these your opinions?
A pretrial stipulation is a document prepared by all parties to the adversary proceeding that helps all parties and the court prepare to conduct a trial. A pretrial stipulation contains information that the parties agree are not in dispute and agree are in dispute.
Useful article and why it's in CPX interest to settle if Maxwell make an offer :

Simply , if CPX fail at any stage , all is lost . High risk profile ,so a deal would be in their best interest.
The deliberations between Maxwell and CPX start tomorrow with oral submissions. Suspect we will have to wait some time for the Judges decision, as to whether the Court case will proceed on the 26 July. Frustrating. If CPX win, it will assist their case no end. If they lose , well it will be a mountain for them to climb and establish any real value in the Company. A lot is riding on this. Very happy we have a new CEO. Anyone know when he starts.
Lets hope it is a short get lost Maxwell and is announced today . If CPX fail then game over.
Cheers. Not long to wait. I am of the opinion if CPX 's case was rejected it will be a very long road back
When is the judges verdict expected?

I love your optimism
Would not put it past the BOD to stich us up
