How about using DNI-with less pollution/mess/oncosts -its novel, game changer teck just been proven economically on other side of world and will be coming to the industry generally from here on. negotiations are already underway with other nickel producers to use this new system. maybe now is a chance (due to dire circumstances ) for talv to at least look at it?-an opportunity-blessing -fortuitous timing? http://www.directnickel.com/category/process/ nickel is produced in hours not months…….

A bigger fear could be if the co fold-the asset will always be in the ground -the gov wont want to be paying a fortune for the clean up/care/maintenance so could i suppose sell the asset on to another purchaser -then what would be left for Talv? a future purchase price of the asset could then offset some of the gov losses on bridging-will the gov have an alternate plan for failure? as surely they will be crunching the numbers on cost to gov? this will in turn be part of the gov hand played in restructuring negotiations? surely. Then whats Nyrstars options-lose the lot? or work within a deal where they dont pressure a talv coming out of life support. ie dont be a greedy piggy Nystar -give chance for talv to grow and upstream the previous deal or a fraction thereof? surprised the rns did not mention zinc prices /zinc futures yet harped on about nickel both positive and negative for immediate and longer term. why not discuss the zinc-its part of talv story? corbs:-)

you think the gov can offer the bridge funding? or some of it? - if so - with collateral being? question is how much is needed to Bridge compared with the on cost of maintenance and clean up-should the co fold?, then factor in if talv fold the long term care/maintenance and on cost the gov will inevitably face which will be considerable compared with the maths between now and June.? within rns.. "The Company plans to re-start mining in June, provided sufficient financing is in place at the time." So will the 5.6 mill euros take TALV from Dec 31st to june 2014? I dont think so. So funding is either imminent for bridging finance or its lights off? is this where the gov need to intervene if restructuring hasnt been worked out in time-before the cash runs dry? corbs :-)

As at 31 December 2013, Talvivaara had cash and cash equivalents amounting to EUR 5.9 million. However, in the absence of further funding, the Company's liquidity situation remains critical. Bridge Funding next step -If/when they can get it- cash burn with current staff?

look at the new DNI process? class leading proven tech - it would solve a whole "heap" of issues. Its just come out there and just been proven. Other Nickel producers will take up the slack with DNI- maybe its the way forward?

the mind boggles as to all the "material events" disclosure- might be shocking-but would also be good? to get it out there and move on?… Volatility with trading on release of news? with many waiting to trade.. :-)

The deal was close, sleone gov are aware and with long long relationship with txr-srx arent too accomodating of the potential change in ownership? throw a few roadblocks into the deal ? speeding tickets? review a few licenses? perhaps, then its status quo and the rolling road is moving again?? it must have been a dream?.. plus one 2 others required for % required. one was topping up within past 4 years circa 6-25p err- m and g-also called prudential. the other senior hasnt for past 4 years at least? question is will srx go with all assets or will it be broken up and some parts get reinvested- ie cash for part of the company (the mining part) -and the green gold can go it alone as can the hydro power project? cant see pala staying once deal is done, unless one of the board likes it so much he stays on? I suspect Nyrstar with their huge credit will be crucial in the restructuring- will they get a restructured -viable-proposal to satisfy them? maybe a tiered product will be negotiated? compound structure that increases at certain key timelines and production related. that will with other parts of the restructure headache enable TALV to rebuild gradually-without crushing pressure from the likes of Nyrstar- assuming the restructuring model is workable. Thats one of many reasons they ended up in the shiit creek with a flimsy paddle. should read back through the links-its more complicated. let the restructuring team feed at the trough before we get further news. meantime nyrstar watch their credit getting cemented into the ground unless the restructuring team can bring creditors aboard and pull a houdini - then someone has to brainwash the next minions set of potential investors with land of honey. meantime the hole was past a billion -not really just £174 million its a lot deeper -so they say… still- theres options to trade this as many are doing and have done and theres many sat here holding a loss from the giddy heights of £3-£6 before the additional shares and dilution, before the truth was known as to how murky central gov politics were involved. yet gov pensions were tied in this too. yipes. and guess who bailed from the original team that said all along that the processes ventured here would work. when she realised the scale of the fluck up, she bailed and changed her tacts and tunes. didn't she. times like this they all blame each other and politics fight for gains. meantime investors are trying to get some return against the dilutory effects before exiting. but wait. the asset is still in situ as are the equipment etc and many staff needed to process it. needs a team of professionals to manage this company properly and the price of commodities to strengthen over next 2-5-10 years at least corbs-musing :-)

Rutile still sponging? hope the security issue with guards etc sorted. some strange customs down there with indiginous/chiefdoms if you get my drift. Corbs- :-)
