Nyrstar were limited in what they did- if they walked away then the were at risk of losing the 200million credit and chances were talv would fold even if reborn under another name. Nyrstar have committed funds they can ill afford to lose with tight control yet with holiday allowance-they have given room for talv to operate and to breathe. there are other issues, ponds, resource productivity and the longer term financing required to help get talv back to a % of where it once was with regards to production longer term im thinking its doable, but then theres hundreds of other creditors all wanting a piece of their credit in some form or another. environmental issues still pervade and ongoing situation re uranium? permit in the future. i doubt any or many of the timelines will be adhered to as per local gov have given strict instructions of compliance with set dates on environment stuff which talv cant get done in time or risk causing harm and will need further extensions along the way- local and central gov might need to be more flexible-not relaxed as the issues are important. this can be done. bear in mind nickel and zinc prices going forward. zinc prices are still low and havent gone to the upside case yet-china demand globally is a wild card here-still. i see upside until next news but its tentative. note also mcap was down from around 110 to 70 million recently which some could say was still too high considering on life support. today 40% has sent mcap to where? £100 million? if so this might be the upper range until, more news filters through (good) or any leaky ponds and other problems will send it back down circa 4p is my guess. p.r. and public announcments with some positive ramping might help-talv need liquidity trading as volumes have been dire of late. is this a partial spring board perhaps? to a more sustained upside. corbs :-) thinking about nyrstars off take deal, how much of the production is then left for talv as a going concern for day to day ops and other creditors? risky days ahead? or not… musing aloud

Helpful to TALV considering Nyrstar are skint and running project lean still. suppose theyre already down for over £200 million so why not risk another 10% circa to start getting the zinc that was already contracted previously? holiday was an obvious way foward. Talv can breathe a little longer every little helps and Nyrstar were possibly the biggest hurdle-being the largest creditor imo-jmo Corbs whats the cash burn at this time and how much space does that provide?

fair point- can someone care to explain the sp when srx is in better shape than ever before and the future programmes are all on target including the diversification asset programmes including the electric dam and the agribus/green gold. price of rutile still sponging? srx have mitigated this by reintroducing some legacy contracts havent they? historically the likes of du pont were legacy customers. why? srx has some of the cleanest and highest/ purest grades in da world. ask their customers jmo :-)

Also keep an eye on Nyrstars sp over the coming weeks with your additional tools looking for signs of a positive outcome on the restructure. apols- i take the rns feed with pinch of salt as i do the translated news wires-all things considered with talv and the delay in furnishing facts-long after the events according to talv history -to date. try the recent rns again added to the translation and i would expect with cash flow issues-unless deal done meantime with cash rabbit appearing on table (or not). i suspect talv will have issues with compliance within timelines, with tight cash, less staff and the nature of the flowsheet-the gov can tell talv all it wants-talv can only do so much in short time- safely? maybe its the gov that needs to give a little-but then their argument would be we already granted extra time to put in place xyz-cant keep doing it as each time the risks increase? according to history?. i can only guess sk-time soon flies eh? ;-)
