It appears to me that the company finally accepted all the opinions stated on here that the share price would continue to fall unless we had some show of extracted gold and look at what has happened! Together with the GROC presentation there now appears to be a different work ethos resulting in the rather spectacular rise in the SP. Hopefully this will continue, perhaps a little more muted but a dewatering approval and good assay results from the tips should trigger an onwards and upwards trend with eventual results that will please everyone. AIMO.

some substance by producing something but ignored it and continued
with the everlasting surveying over many, many months!

Well at long last, GF has realised that we want to see some gold produced, not before time!!!

GF must be very well aware now of what is needed to dig this share price out of the mire and if
he ignores the wishes of the investors in this company then he will be working against
their interests and continuing to diminish the share's value. He must start mining with whatever
resources there are and get that unused processing plant working.

Very frustrating to realize that the policy of GF to conduct endless exploration rather than making an effort to actually extract some gold from whatever resources are available has resulted in the SP being in the dreadful state it is now.

I assume the processing plant bought in January has been standing idle all this time while they continue this
endless exploration. No processing, no gold!
When Fishface posted on this chat that there was no action whatsoever at the mine and the machinery was idle when he visited it appears to be the true situation. Why?

I am quite aware of that. I was countering Ocelot's claim that the rise in gold price would assist the ALBA SP. No chance!
Maybe when we do eventually produce but when the h£ll that will be I couldn't possibly guess!

So much for the gold price rise increasing ALBA'S SP. Never on the cards!!!

Ocelot, furthermore that situation occurred at a time when investors had a reasonable expectation that some gold would be produced fairly soon. That is not the present situation and at the moment we are completly in the dark as to when production will start!

Ocelot, Disagree. the share price has diminished continually to the extent that I believe the gold price no longer has any effect in raising the price beyond its present level whatever level gold reaches. Only positive mining information from ALBA will do that. Time will tell.

The only significant thing about the rising gold price is that it
clearly emphasises just how much ALBA is losing out by not mining any!

If we were actually mining and selling gold this would be good news! At the moment it's academic.

Butchers, I have seen all the presentations and vox interviews but it always is "what we are going to do".
We never never get "what we have done" and here is a small amount of what we have extracted.
I can take a small amount of jam tomorrow but with ALBA it is continuous and so far , no substance.

Isn't it time GF stopped exploration of central Wales for further deposits of gold and got down to actually extracting some of it from the sources already available? He knows very well that we shareholders invested in the company in the assumption that we would soon see some production even if moderate to start with but this continuous explaoration appears to be using all the effort that could be put into some extraction. For heavens sake GF please show us something that indicates that we really are a gold mining company and not an incessant exploration company.

Didn't GF mention some other method of accessing these levels or an extension of them?
