The beneficial effect of every RNS is diminished by the fact that they don't state gold content per tonne of ore and don't say how much has been mined but insist on this concentrate information which is gobbledegook to some of us. If a RNS gave us a straightforward figure then it might have more impact on the SP.

Thanks Elir, why ALBA can't give us a straight figure of gold per ton is strange. All the RNS on output never give an answer
in generally accepted terms but continue on the concentrate etc. which doesn't give a real answer and reduces the impact of the RNS with consequent lesser improvement in the SP.

They still don't tell us how much gold they have actually mined!

Andysel, yes, were are in an exploration stage but this is a mine which has produced large quantities of gold in the past and was only discontinued due to the low price of gold. Surely it must be possible to continue mining in the existing workings in conjunction with the continued exploration. Seems to me to be a question of strategy and at the moment the strategy is not working as far as shareholders are concerned.

Ocelot , yes and managing them pretty badly at the moment! The market takes note of results which are not being provided. The plant has been running for a considerable time now and we are not aware of one single ounce of gold that has been produced. How much gold has been mined and what is its worth? When this is answered then maybe the market will take notice and act accordingly.

Why is it that when you watch the Aussie gold prospecting programs on TV, They show the ore being shoveled into their plant and out comes the gold which doesn't need assaying? Is there something different about our setup which takes months to sort out the results?

Some years ago I invested in a copper mining company in Chile called Herencia. Month after month and year after year they were prospecting, digging, sampling etc. and glowing reports were announced regularly about the quantity and quality of the copper deposits. They even suggested a JV to mine the copper. As far as I know, not an ounce of copper was mined and I don't even know if they still exist. I got out seeing the way things were going. Hopefully no parallel.

Gold is now £1338 an oz, why are we not mining!

Month after month after month and we still haven't been shown any mined gold, what's the problem?

This is getting ridiculous ! If two or three men with picks and shovels were able to get a good amount of gold out in past excavations, how is it that after all this time on site with all the modern equipment available, we are showing absolutely nothing! After all the hype and pictures of gold bearing quartz etc, not one ounce of gold has been shown to us that has been produced. Management and PR at its worst!

GF, we need to see some gold and soon! I have always been led to believe that is what a gold mine is for, mining gold, but you don't appear to have mined any yet! Maybe you have but if so, we need to know about it.

of course the subject of placings should not be taboo but discussing it ad nauseum is!

All the talk of placings seems to be affecting the share price? Can we drop the subject for a while?
