bg cannot be trusted ,when i recently picked up a new customer to service her gas boiler,i asked her to empty the wall rack holding cups she asked "why" i pointed out to service the boiler i would need to take the casing off and the rack was stopping me ,she said " i have had the gb service the boiler for the last 5 years and they have never asked, and that rack has been there all the time !!!

cruntp get rid of gas boiler and install electric[ ,you will not be able to buy a new gas one after 2030 anyway ,] tell the gas supplier you dont need the gas meter and that will save £92 a year standing charge, no sevice cost ,no gas inspection if you let,simples
