Davielad, agreed. Yes we need focused business people and proven members with good turnaround experience. Seems to me the Dame is more interested in titles and charitable work and to be part of a woke agenda so that she is popular. The rot however needs to be cleaned up from the top and that is her.

Regardless of all the analysis below the woke Dame has to go. She is working for the shareholders and she has not delivered anything in terms of share price during her tenure. She picked up ITV at 170p in January 18 and has been leading her to destruction ever since. Most companies have successfully navigated themselves out of COVID and made new ATH yet her performance has been abysmal.

A change in leadership will provide a tailwind to ITV.

No company with such good results falls 25% on the day of the announcement. Strategy is wrong and she has badly steered this ship. We need an activist investor that will shake the woke brigade up and deliver results even if it means stripping out

I don't care if the results are good. She cannot come up with a strategy in the context of the current environment (rampant inflation requiring capital preservation). An activist investor is needed that will grab this bull by the horns and steer it on the right course

1. To force the incompetent Mcccall and the rest of the BoD on a proper strategy
2. To monetise the studio and any other parts of the business worth monetising

Carolyn has to go - I don't want to sound sexist but look at GSK as well. Everywhere there is a woke CEO it's an unmitigated disaster. We need a change in leadership even to give the SP a bit of a tailwind. This woman can put a foot right.

A few days ago I said 92p is my target and it happened today even I can not believe in my prediction coming so true. I bought and will be looking to exit for a quick 10-15% profit.
But some change is warranted and soon. Get rid of that woman all she's brought is pain to shareholders

Goldman Sachs have done a study and still recommend a buy even after these events. I have a copy but it is in greek. If you look on google you may find it.

CCH is a big company - The war at some point will end. CCH will have the means to re-establish its revenues in Russia and if not somewhere else on another emerging market.
Opportunities like that don't come often. I bought at the COVID low and made a ton. Tomorrow I am buying again.

I disagree, if for a moment you discount the war and look at the economy you will notice that there has been a rotation to more defensive assets like utilities. Why?
10yr debt yields in US are about to fall hard this means bonds are going up, by extension low beta stocks with high dividend yields and defensive qualities are favoured. Gold / Silver also. Bitcoin I am not so sure as it behaves like Nasdaq.
So utility stocks and tobacco stocks are in favour at the moment.

Now one might argue Centrica does not pay a dividend. Well sooner or later they will and the price is so low even now it is a bargain.
I am beating myself for not buying this dip. I am already invested since the 40s and will not start top chopping until I see at least 90p in front of the SP. Even then I may not do so if they declare even a small dividend.

well in the case 92p is your target according to charts. But that is not going to happen in my view unless the results are catastrophic which most likely they are not. 102p is a realistic target
