Chairman's usually are decorative. If people here feel strongly about their investment and the fact that it is not being looked after by Ms McCall then they should email them and express their dissatisfaction like I did.

ITV have sent me a reply justifying their performance by saying that during 2022 the likes of Disney Amazon and Netflix suffered equally if not worse than ITV did. The audacity of the statement is such that they have totally missed the part that all of them have turned it around and in the case of AMZN and NFLX have had stellar performance in 2023.

I replied pointing that out as well as the serial underperformance of Ms MCall since 2017. If you want to do so yourselves every little helps in order to give her the message. The rot has to be stemmed and it starts at the top.

Instead of focusing on being a ruthless CEO driven to generate profits for the shareholders that give her a job instead she has focused on a woke agenda. I suspect that she probably has class guilt from her youth when in Bangalore in India and Singapore, where her Scottish father ran a Far East division of a US textiles firm. I read she has focused on running various diversity groups etc etc but Mail says no group for white heterosexual men.

Instead she has been pandering to the wishes of Meghan and other woke causes disaffecting millions of viewers in the process.

But her major fault is that she has not been ruthless enough as a business woman. ITV is suffering as a business for years under her. Time for this scandal to help get her off.

What is a fair value worth if it is not realised? The markets are full of companies below fair value. Your metric is absolutely useless especially in light of the fact that you've been saying it for years yet it never materialises. It took me a 1 ½ of investing to realise that studies like yours are worthless. Only thing that matters is price action in front of you and liquidity.

Some it inevitable is (re Holmes). But the dame is lame she is always excuses and fire fighting. She cannot get in front of any issue unless it involves diversity and wokeness. She knew that I am certain of. I am almost certain that the culture at ITV is such (everyone afraid of their own shadow and wanting to cover themselves for any eventuality) that the matter would have been escalated to her through back channels.

Something is not quite right. I expect a big fall tomorrow. Managed selling today is my bet. The fall comes when you least expect it.

There is an old saying - "Where there is smoke there is fire". - Not to say that someone is not innocent until proven guilty but ITV is a woke media business. For ITV same as it was for BP. And hopefully some of the board will also depart as they must have known and covered up. I hear the downfall was the boy who refused to lie for Schofield. Forcing him to start apologising and telling the truth. I think there is more to the story which will unravel. I hope that Carolyn takes the blame. It is convenient for her to blame everything on the scandal for her departure to hide from her incompetence. At least then we can move on. After all these events with Schofield and the huge cloud of doubt that hangs over him (I say no more...) plus the fact that senior ex-ITV presenters all coming out to say that they were covering up for him, surely she has to go. Running the company an an incompetent is one thing covering up I'll say indiscretions but I mean something stronger, is inexcusable and she needs to be punished
