My first impression is that this is another bad deal pushed through by Liberty who have a big stake in ITV and partly the reason why ITV is held down. Acquired by Liberty and WBD now for about 500M in 2014 now they want 1BN in 2023. Another way to shaft ITV and keep it in the doldrums. Happy for a debate on this

Pogo clearly you don't know what you are talking about. Carolyn McCall is solely responsible for the decline since 2017 and every time she opens her mouth the price tanks. So do me a favour put in 40mln if you have it so you can provide the much needed exit liquidity required for us as long as Carolyn McCall is at the helm. If she survives the summer I would be very surprised.

I have said on this board that you should all email ITV asking for Carolyn McCall's resignation - Some are saying it won't do anything but this is the equivalent of "I won't vote because the other party will be elected". It is a defeatist approach. I emailed them in the past about her and the dismal share performance and they had the audacity to compare themselves with 2022 and the performance of Netflix and Amazon and Disney. I replied by pointing them out the performance results of all these companies showing the share prices year to date. They have all been turned around. Silece since then.

In order to see a serious improvement in the SP and not the usual 10% up or down- I mean a sustained path back to its fair value (as much as I hate the term) - it needs new leadership.
