The news from Japan last night will not be of any help to weak stocks like ITV. It will be a convenient way for the inadequate Carolyn McCall to blame the latest round of future share price misfortune. BoJ have indicated their rates may be allowed to go up to 1% thus relaxing their YCC. Meaning that dollar likely to go up, weak equities will sell of and guess what ITV will be doing if that were to happen since it is a weak stock affected by economical malaise. If you buy it now with a view to Carolyn Mccall out and are willing to wait it out until 2025 I'd say yes buy it in my view but be prepared to suffer a drawdown of 20-30% in the process. Earnings per share down from 4.8p per share to 1p. I am guessing they will be using cash reserves or borrowing to pay for your dividend which I believe is about 133M maybe more not sure.

Their net debt is up to 724M from 623M last year.

More importantly by Dec 23 a big eurobond has to be refinanced and I think they will be using their revolving borrowing facility at a huge interest cost no doubt.

Unless you know really well what you are doing and are very disciplined then AIM ok.
