I have to say though that as most of the long term fools are of a certain age, it is in their blood to tug their forelock to Dames, OBEs, MBEs, Lords etc as they are potty trained at a young age to take it up the ..... and suffer in silence

Tom it is clear even to these mugs that the board is as crooked as they come. Usually boards change when was the last time a board member here left? It is nepotism , old boy network at its best. They have found the holy cow that keeps on giving. Some of us have realised it and are milking it in the way it should be. Play its range and pray for another rumour to surface to entice all the mug punters into buying thus generating a short opportunity. Simples

With ITV it's not a case where to buy but at which point to enter short. None of the shorts even at the recent lows have closed. None of the directors that matter have bought, the economy climate looks bleak and the only thing keeping the FTSE slightly alive at the moment is the drop in sterling that has enticed a bit of foreign capital. US is in recession although noone will tell you that. By the time they do it will be time to buy.

You know what happens whenever everyone is looking for 80p right? It never gets there. The delusion in Pogo is out of this world. The MM's know more or less your averages. Hell I can figure them out myself everyone has the tools to figure it out.

Pogo is simply desperate now. He invested like a gambler everything in one stock because he was sold on to a story. He didn't hedge or diversify. He thought he found the holy grail that would be a takeover target and will be paying him to wait via the divi. If only it was that easy. It would be Lambo's all around.

Now he is desperate and take solace from the fact that he successfully predicted a 1-2p share movement as if that will generate some kind of profit for him. If he was so sure he would lever himself up and play it as a spread bet. But that is a game for men.

Eeringly quiet here all the hopium takers have vanished - see you at next earnings or when another engineered rumour surfaces

Jed I have to teach you basic maths because the level is so low here. What spread and what charges are you on about?

If I buy let's say 1000 shares @ 66.9p including the stamp duty the cost is - (1000 X 66.9p)*1.005 = £672.34

If I sell @69.2p then the resulting amount is 1000*69.2p = £692.00

Now 692 - 672 = £20p profit per 1000 shares. Now times that by 20 as I deal with 20000 shares it is a very healthy £400 profit. Not bad for a day trade. Now imagine if I was doing that on leverage at 1:5.....

Only Pogo thinks that and he has 500K shares deep in the red. He is just hoping for the dividend to break even. Just like the other long term mugs here with averages above a £1

Pogo should be ashamed. Not because of his investment choices, everyone can have bad ones, but for his constant bias trying to influence others. He is getting egg on his face even when the general market is up (ITV is not).

No credibility by Pogo just a bad investment (his only one by his own admission to the tune of 500K shares). He is desperately trying to pump this.

And the fantasist Pogo claims that shorts have closed en masse. Pogo is not credible at all. He lies and he is dangerous to the rest of the so called investors in this board

I was shorting from 80p and Pogo is trying to tell me that I lost money closing shorts. And he thinks they are actually closing. For info the most recent drop on ITV shorts was 0.02% from Point72 who had a 0.6% short.

Pogo is deluded and an amateur. He doesn't have a clue but does have an agenda as he is deep in $hit with nearly half a million shares and seriously underwater. So he will try to pump ITV

Pogo I have made money on these movements. I have made money on the way up and on the way down. Just because you cannot and just blindly buy thinking of majestic swing movements it doesn't mean that others cannot.

There is a trading range for ITV. There is a crooked board that allows stories about takeovers to circulate in order to inflate their KPI's and get share options awarded, there is historically a clear selling from ITV directors whenever a convenient excuse arises (noone has bought with their own money for years), there is a dwindling economy.

If you can put all that together you know that there is a cap on ITV share price.

And to the ones that think that a low price means it is attractive for a takeover. It is not. For reasons that are quite long winded I can tell you now that ITV will only be a takeover target (likely) if it starts trading in the 85p - 100p.

Do some research understand market psychology and learn to read a chart and you may become a better trader.

All of you have egg on your faces. Market is flying today and ITV is like meehh
