I spoke today with an old hand in trading for a big fund. I was joking about ITV. He told me he still remembers part of his team in 2004 working on a potential bid for ITV from alleged suitors. :)

Pogo like a lamb to the slaughter - He will re-invest after the budget. As usual a day late and a dollar short. Amateur investors wait for news. By the time the make the press it's old news in the city and the action has taken place. Experienced investors read price action before hand and sense the mood.

I will tell you dunderhead what could go wrong. ITV becoming irrelevant as it tries to be a bit like BBC. The M&A as you can see is done because the centre right wants a platform. ITV is running the risk of becoming irrelevant because McCall is in power

BigEgo cites Scotland qualifying in WC as a catalyst for ITV to increase share price. For crying out loud they will play 3 games in a probably unfavourable time and be finished.

Bid for ITV would have been around the 94pence as I said in the past perhaps 100p. Which is why McCall looked at it and said no as it would have meant she cannot get a graceful exit. She's a failure and she needs to be pushed out pronto

I predict Pogo will be out calculating his dividends again and telling us that Gold and BTC are to blame for ITV's misfortunes.

I am right about a lot of things Fingal but these guys drink the coolaid and my manner does not help. They just dig their heels in ITV for years - Some do revenge trading, some bury their heads in the sand, some read tea leaves, some jump on every piece of information they find and blow it all out of proportion. One day they will admit defeat and learn to trade

Christmas holidays are coming up. If you don't hear anything about it this week you can forget it losing monkeys. The only thing you will perhaps find out is which chalet McCall will be occupying this year with your capital :)
