Soley I personally try to educate people. Tom is now a bull after the fantasist has said that he bought a million shares. I like Tom when he speaks sensibly but I don't believe that anyone buying a million shares would have time to be on this board.

I use the following maths. A sensible investor would not spend more than 7% of his total portfolio on a single idea. Assuming that Tom bought 1M shares at 70p then his total portfolio size should be 10M. There is no cat chance in hell that he has 10M more like 100K.

I did the same calculations with Pogo to prove that he is an imbecile for putting all of his money in ITV.

I am giving lessons on a daily basis to you that is why I am here. 99% of you do not have a clue about risk management.

I am here Jed and Uranus (you could make perfect adult cartoon character by the way) because even I need reminding that the world is full of amateur mugs who think are investors with an edge. I use you to remind myself to keep things simple, by when an asset is in positive momentum and is rising and sell it when it is a downtrend and bouncing like a dead cat. The latter is what I like about ITV and there is plenty of cannon fodder in this group for years now.

I thank you for your service to my P&L all these years. I am also watching now if something that will / may start a bidding war in ITV but I highly doubt it. If that happens there is thousands in available powder to enter the game with leverage not your usual back of the sofa contributions.

Pogo will make more than likely a 1% profit including dividends in his holdings since 2022 and declare victory as if he was buying th S&P500 since 2022. He is a loser and one that talks a lot just that

A 16% rise today in a market where since September alone had suffered a drawdown of 20% (if you know what a drawdown is...). You are cannon fodder to astute investors

Use a 30-trading day VWAP prior to bid speculation appearing (06/11/2025) - VWAP ~ 71.5p

Apply a generous 30% premium to it. Initial bid = 92.95p call it 93p.

Use a 3-month trading period VWAP + 25%

3mth VWAP (06/08) = ~75p + 25% = 94p

Not much difference between the 2 scenarios. And of course this is for the whole of ITV not just the broadcasting business. With these many of the dreamers here would struggle to even break even on their capital. Market knows this hence why despite for the first ever bid speculation resulting in an RNS price is capped at the usual place.

Fingal a FTSE tracker would have been better even after today's pathetic rise. I demonstrated to these dreamers here that even if they had IUKD they would have made money than this particular horse $hit

Pogo are you actually making money. Based on your previous postings here you are still deep underwater and have no hope of making it back. Stop with all the nonsense. You are a liar.

Tom this bid alongside the others will amount to nothing. The lame dame will put in an exorbitant valuation on the business no other bidders will be forthcoming either. I suspect this is a usual ploy by McCall and her buddies to enable a good exit. Price capped where it always has been.

May I remind you losers that your averages are 95% chance that they are above 100p. Also more than likely you my have drip fed money in during the fall like the losers you are however again 80% you did not buy the bottom as you were $hitting your pants and you wives kept saying what incompetents you were. You just didn't have the guts to do so. So in order to get your money back I reckon you need a rise from the recent low of about 50% to 90%.

Let me repeat that losers again. You need a rise from 50% to 90% just to make your money back. So far you have had a maximum of 21%. I will take away a generous 15% gain on your dividends. You are still short 14% to 64% on your capital mugs. God help you off your average is higher than that.

On the performance toady. It is interesting that a bid approach and one that ITV have deemed so important to issue an RNS has resulted in just a rise which has now subsided to 81 pence. This coincides with the VWAP running from 13/12/2019 when the lame dame started with her series of abysmal trading updates. The price and the market think nothing of this and so far have given it a mediocre share price appreciation.

Dunderhead - I hope indeed you make back what you have lost since July and September. Just to make up for your loses you need respectively a 33% and a 25% rise imbecile.
