Hydrogen/Fuel Cell cars are never going to become mainstream, as the $$$ and Environmental costs of producing and storing the Hydrogen can't compete with EV's.

RL, I asked GH directly at the AGM, if GGP becoming a mining company was a realistic possibility, and he replied, that if it was the best route to maximise returns for shareholders, then GGP would become a Mining Company.

Morning Tb et al, GH outlined that shallow open pit mining was not necessarily a cheaper option these days, as technology and drilling methods had improved, but more importantly, the permits and environmental studies and impact assessments etc needed to start mining open pit, made the costs very similar whatever the depth of resource... Our current drill partner, has successfully drilled to below 3000m... let’s hope the body continues way deeper than the current modelling GLA

Value, I understand your concerns, and it was interestingly one of the topics that was discussed Yesterday at the AGM.

GH was asked about whether it was correct to concentrate on Hav, which is now looking like it could be quite a deep resource, rather than drilling and proving up Black Hills, which maybe has the potential to be of a similar nature to Telfer

GH's response, was actually the costs involved with modern mining techniques, at depths up to 3000+M compared to the additional permits and environmental impact of an open pit, were very similar, and it just wasn't a concern.

Hopefully we can all get a nice return in the New Year, when more good results come back from the Labs!

Hi Paddy, CB & GH seemed to genuinely not know when the results would come back, as the labs are obviously choc a bloc with everyone's final core samples at the end of the drilling season.
I didn't ask if they expected individual samples, or the whole consignment to be reported in one tranche.

I was there, and had a long chat with CB, and a couple of others, including Alastair Middleton from Thor (ex Metal Tiger and GGP PI) about the 06-09 cores.

The method of transportation was just about the only thing not discussed..

Essentially CB was very open and explained in great detail about all the different processes that the core samples go through before they can release the results.

I am hoping to attend, but am probably 50/50 now, after some work related challenges...

Gents, I am hoping to come to the AGM, but have my Dad's funeral on Sat, so somehow the AGM might not be my No1 priority this week...
