2 Mil funding fantastic validation of the IP produced by Scancell. With funding secured, I believe Scanell are at an inflection point to realise it's potential. In the short to medium term, I am expecting further licensing deals for its assets. Upward trend going forward IMO.

@Bermuda - thanks for your detailed reply. Appreciate for your valued insight on their investment history. Redx story makes sense. In that case, SCLP's path looks a bit different perhaps more stable incomparsion with recent raise together with Vulpes. Seems Redmile may be just happy to just have Vulpes as another cornerstone investor and may not actually be interested to takeover majority at this stage may be... what do u think?

As you know they recently acquired RedX Pharma, and I am curious to know whether they have further interest in other AIM listed pharmas? And is it typical for them to just outright acquire majority stakes of companies like they did with RedX. Thanks for your valued input.

The key reasons for buying for me are:
1) Balance Sheet 15m Cash injection to realise potential
2) Redmile New Investor further validates the IP and advantages of this company
3) For years stagnant share price, seems new energy creating a new chapter and Inflection point for SCLP
4) Strong portfolio and Innovation (Biotech, Cancer Research UK, 3 new mono-antibodies partnering)
5) Oncology and licensing deals are still leading the size of healthcare market.

What are your reasons for buying? Also share reasons why not buy?

Would be interested to learn more about the new investor Red Mile. I understand they made good decisions such as the acquisitions on recent RedX pharma which they are now majority owners. Just makes me wonder about their history and investments methods using convertible loans options rather than traditional methods. @Bermudashorts - I remember u mentioned your experience with them previously, any more details to share?

Anyone expecting fund raising as income is squeezed and millions in cashflow still exit the doors each week with rents and fixed costs/overheads? High street is a ghost town in many areas as local lockdown and office workers not returning to work. Greggs really need to do a bit more on pushing digital and door step delivery at affordable prices. Just looking at WHsmith statement, doesn't look any better either. DYOR IMO.

After being out for a while.. I am glad to rejoin SCLP as they progress to next stages especially with balance sheet consolidated and confirmed fund raising with support from an additional new investor Redmile. This to me is quite a significant confidence in the business. The company continues to churn out news antibodies and tech so I am happy for this entry. GLA.
