How guaranteed is this placing? Any mentions on whether institutional investors have backed it? Suddenly the market cap wud have doubled; making this company worth more but as a shareholder discounted and worthless.

Unless they were confident they could out-license this year, they would wait before raising; so anticipating probably be H1 until a deal is done or NOT.

Was expecting tangible results before another rights issue... ridiculous. Not expecting a deal this year then.

"only worth £450 million / 6 = £75 million???" @Dave- I don't think you have priced in the debt which is reflected in today's market cap of 450million. Perhaps Enterprise Value (EV) is more accurate considering the company has around a 1 billion+ in debt and pension deficits so more like 1.5 billion/6 = 250 million.

For COVIDITY to have accelerated success, I suspect it would be necessary to form a partnership with a particular big pharma such as Astra and Oxford Uni or Biontech & Pfizer or an enlarged consortium. An significant addition to the Scancell + UON + UON Trent triangle would bring much more attention and drive forward. I suspect such a strategic collaboration would be turbo charge this project.

SCIB 1 Delay enrolment continues H2 depending on Covid-19 Impact. Disappointed but expected given the chaos of COVID-19 situation.

o Post period end, patient enrolment was paused due to prioritisation of COVID-19 patients during the pandemic. Commencement of patient enrolment in the UK planned for late H2 2020, contingent on the impact of any future COVID-19 restrictions

I am surprised there has been no rights issue here whilst every other company has taken advantage of squeezing shareholders to shore up balance sheets. Don't want to speak too soon tho. If lockdown continues in to winter period, I fear worse with significant fixed costs flowing out the doors of 1000+ shops... unbelievable. Solid company but very uncertain times ahead.

Added at 17. Redmile also supported Redx Pharma with cash raising not long ago. Now starting to see similar patterns here.

Plenty of news on the horizon which will be a key driver to a higher share price I believe as await the following news:

- Covidity vaccine updates & partnering opportunities
- Moditope BioNTech/Scancell Collaboration Ripe for Update on progress
- SCIB trials update

With funding secured from high level and credible investor "Redmile", this will continue to be a magnet and attract attention from investors and other stakeholders. IMO the strong innovative oncology pipeline will reap significant returns for shareholders in the long-term.

Oxford Technology Venture Capital Trust (OXT) On 2 October 2020, the Company sold a further 100,043 shares at a price of 20.05p.

It's reassuring to know that the selling is mainly for liquidity purposes and that we know the source of share price surpression by this fund

The 7.5bn announcement with DWP is merely an opportunity to "bid" not a contract win or cash in bank deal. Step in the right direction though, positive to see Schroder add from 10.332% to 11.178% slightly offsetting the 1%+ selling from VERITAS.

Seems like those that want to sell have sold... kinda gives an indication of where this may go. However, conservative side of me believes there are still short-term headwinds with the gloomy economics and unemployment rate, especially since mattresses are not exactly the biggest concern for upgrading when vet bills and council tax are concerned; I am neutral on the share price currently, but in the medium to longer time, I believe the company will do significantly well. I may buy back in if this falls much further.

Any comments on expectations on timing of rights issue if any? Liquidity is the biggest concern from my opinion as lockdown continues and CFO would probably be considering all options to strengthen the balance sheet. Seems many companies have done it already, my question is why not Greggs when they need it most at this time.

Thanks D-Geeman. I've also exited Kier at the very last minute. I decided to just take a modest loss than be a potential casualty and risk some of the gains I've made from Eve already. @Wyndrum you've reminded me that I could always buy later when things are looking to turnaround and buy on the upward trend and agree with Geeman that further down the track seems to make sense. I am expecting results to be terrible tomorrow, my case for buying was always thinking that the KIE shares are already priced in at 60p... but after going to 50p, it just reminded me that it cud go much lower.

The £3.2b orderbook is spread across several years in the future. Possibly less than half of that may convert to next year so 1% operating margin on £1.5 bil = £15 mil after tax and exceptional costs etc. Not much left. I agree future outlook will be key especially converting that 1% margin to 5% will make it a bit more attracting. The trouble with this management I find, they are not so ambitious with their targets; they do a great job of presenting a ****y outlook. Hopefully this changes tomorrow.

Due to site closures and reduced productivity significantly reduced revenue in the final quarter of the financial year. Expecting divisional operating margins expected to show a loss of c5%.... Where did u find 30mil profit?

-Profit margins uplift was strong
-Cashflow and cost control was handled really well
- Marketing spend to revenue now 25% VS 50% last year, just shows what an amazing job management has done.
- Almost profitable. Not there yet.

The significant next leg up will be to demonstrate profitability which I believe Eve will eventually get there. I think in medium to long-term Eve will do grow strongly. Expect a takeover at some point but who knows about the timeline may be a PE acquisition or Simba merger talks could resurface. IMO DYOR

However, in the short-term despite online being favourable and Covid-19 tailwinds; the macro economy that doesn't look very good with furlough coming to an end etc; so I share similar concerns with Wyndrum about the headwinds h2 and next year. Exited my position for now, but I will monitor very curiously Eve's journey on this board.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Yes I agree, management really needs to aim higher with margins, targeting 2% by 2022 is really not that ambitious. I get that naturally infrastructure and construction projects have lower margins generally but it's ridiculous as you say to buy work when it's suppose to be a profitable business. In addition, I am not sure why they are only targeting 1-1.5b billion revenues when the revenues are mid-point on previous year. Would be keen to learn more about there strategy and plan for profits and margins going forward.
