With strong sales in h2 as reported in trading update and 8mil cash and a focus on cost efficiency and profitability; I believe we are set for bigger cash pile. This certainly provides a support protection with company valuation and higher reward/upside if the company reports profitability. Subsequently, I expect more IIs and private equity to be interested in this well run sleep wellness brand and company. As mentioned 2 of the best mattresses and rank 2 out of 5 top mattresses according to Which?! This surely says something about the quality and value of the company which is currently under appreciated in SP right now.

Yes Sniffer, just had a look at Dunelm results, even with closing all 174 stores, they were able to generate net cash of £141m whereas previous year net debt £68m. What was great to learn was their gross margin increased, and sales were strong despite all the fixed costs/overheads of 174 stores. Eve doesn't have the issue of such large fixed costs of running stores so it's very promising for their bottomline.

Cheryl Calverley bought around 4.85p worth £4,500 in Sept 2020 so this shows she is confident that the share price is undervalued and expecting it to go much higher. Although 4.5k is not significant but in addition to her share options (4.5million shares which is now worth 250k), interesting that at the time she was granted 4.5mil shares in May 29th 2020, the share price was only 1.4p worth only 63k. With this recent confidence buy, I believe she wants her shares to multiply from 250k to reach at least 7 figures to the million+ region. That would be nice for all of us wouldn't it.

Yes good start. I think there is quite a lot of potential to expand the "sleep wellness" range to include other furniture or items for the bedroom. I think bedside lamps, more variety of storage benches etc could be popular.

It's a sound strategy to prioritise investment and expansion over profitability as a growing tech business. Not many tech businesses listed in UK for these strange reasons perhaps; I think they are considering US listing instead with Grub. investors here more used to stable dividends and profitability shud stick with the traditional boring minerals and oil businesses.

Strong sales and results but why down 5%? While US listed Doordash rises 14% worth $60 billion market cap whereas JustEat with similar revenues worth 5x less. Very strange. How to explain the valuation differences?

Look forward to receiving some updates soon regarding progress. Fingers crossed on hope for Covidity tests on new strains and also collaboration opportunities with big pharma to take this candidate forward to accelerate stages of getting vaccine in arms.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts; 6.5p is IMO a good buy valuing the company at 15m which I believe the company valuation cud even have the potential to bag 2x to 30m market cap in the short to medium term as profitability is in reach. A demonstration of profits in the single digit millions would be sufficient IMO. GL to u and all holders.

Great to learn that Dunelm is a big stockist of Eve. @Wyndrum, great to learn ur top up, what's your technical analysis as to why top-up now at this price and what patterns/behaviours are u seeing? I know you mention 8p is ur target is there any particular reason, and why not 8.5p? :)

15mil Market Cap with 8 mil cash in bank in an e-commerce business; a strong management team and brand gives me great confidence that this could be a great potential takeover target by PE or other interested parties. An amazing turnaround story this one with tailwinds and market share increases as online eats away brick and mortar stores.

Simba 100m sales... wow. I wonder how much of that is from UK market alone. Interesting how Eve captures half of the traffic compared to Simba (Thanks D-Geeman for sharing data). Simba Pocket £3m in profit, came on the back of three record quarters of sales. This is really positive news for Eve and a reflection of strong Q4 also. 8mil in bank and potential for profitability looking great for solid share price going forward IMO DYOR.

Doordash, closest competitor has $50billion valuation listed in US. whereas JET at £13bil listed in UK some catching up to do.

ErrHum - I see... makes sense that it's just for affiliate channel only. But doesn't answer the profitability question. We've not seen figures for last year's revenue specifically for affiliate channels but yes agree "heart-warming" and positive that they were able to leverage this type of marketing and double revs in this channel after only joining forces with Impact and Scale Digital in January 2020.

Eve isn't earning a profit yet so how accurate is this article about profits and doubling of revenues. Doesn't seem to be consistent with what has been reported in the RNS

@D-Geeman - where this number come from about doubling it's revenue? "UK revenue up 114% YoY. " Last year's revenue was 24mil so doubling would mean 48m which can't be right?
