I made the fatal mistake of rushing in too early....I have held/traded this share for a few years and got back in when the not so good news was released at around 130 feel it could drop a little more but on the whole this is a good and well run company expect to see a pick end of August....

That was pretty solid and the divi looks very safe wouldnt be suprised to see 1600 in the coming days and weeks

got out of poundland today I was lucky enough to find close to the bottom when i bought.....wasnt going to push my luck by trying to find the top...happy with my profit and I still think this has a way to go yet, any significant drops and i will be back in GLA

Actually I dont think there were any warning signs as they are reporting problems for the final 1\4 and into next year....and certainly the market did not see it coming...

The market realy can be quite ruthless its shoot first ask questions later....I feel SIV didnt help themselves with that RNS they could have given an aproximation of how much profits would be down instead of "materialy" however when the questions are asked and answered I think we will find that the SP will be much higher...

I bought these a few years ago at around 70p i think...and sold for a tidy profit...I have bought back in because this company is actually very well run, the reason I got out was I thought the buying spree of other companies was a little quick, but when you take a closer look they have been quite smart purchases.....at 240p they were over valued anyway and thats before todays news but I see 165p as about fair value im sure it will come back to that level within 2 to 3 months

got in at 136 and thought we were somwhere near bottom....looks like I was wrong DOH....

The RNS was bad....but not nearly 40% bad im back in this....

looks like I got lucky some what....if you look at my post a few days ago I bought a lot more at about 129 and hoped that this was the bottom...looks like i was very close, I have never caught the bottom of any share I may add...but really felt this had gone too far...Although I hope for another rise today I suspect we will get a breather, however I still feel there is some way to go on the sp over a relativley short period....we shall see....

can we push for another couple of % today?

Went to a different poundland in Sutton Coldfield yesterday and it was rammed and this is a very affluent area...however yet again not really enough staff on tills....

I am convinced its an ii off loading...but I can also see a large Director buy hitting an RNS soon...

Think its more to do with the P\E and forward earnings the city think they should be doing more quicker and revenue should be higher

I would imagine there will be a lot sells reported late....as all I can see is mostly buys...

Ive just got in again under 130 not sure where the bottom is but I hope im close GLA...

it was aabout 3.3% but at this sp it will be more now...
