Indeed enormous with their tie in with yourgene, which is part of the government testing consortium and Boots being a nationwide distributor, the government would indeed award mhc a very juicy contract inc home and airport testing. Boots have stores at airports and there is hardly any space to install equipments etc..at these airports, so use ready boots.

Seamanp911, I recall people being frustrated when ncyt was in the £1 range, having increased from 6p before the test announcement......only to then motor to £12.50. I advised patience then, same for here.
Insider01, could you please say briefly what you found in that link? I don’t think people would be bothered reading 34 pages of government documentation. Some people might even send it to rms if appropriate. Cheers
Boris Johnson, “He said the government's infrastructure plans including wind farms, railways, nuclear power stations would all need steel.”

Come on Gyrometric show your wind farms shaft tech!!!
I see people wondering how is testing relevant to the mask. Well as is legally required, you must be wearing to attend any public place, such as testing stations in this case. Can you fathom the number of masks needed? But where is the bloody newly recruited PR company to take advantage of this and previous opportunities?
Come on dr Cave our trust is being gradually eroded particularly when seeing all these once in a lifetime opportunities being almost squandered, not to mention people catching covid and some dying from it.

Of course there will be multiple companies involved. No one company, no matter how big it is, will be able to provide all the tests needed. Just look at the vaccine provision by the biggest pharmas. Yet testing will be many multiples that of vaccines, hence 2/3 times weekly testing for each individual PER WEEK.
Persistent hangover from getting drunk on Jesus’ blood this Easter. Wait til they’ve had his flesh for lunch and they’ll be back, lol.
Come on rms give us the rns next week...or rns for rms they’re interchangeable, yes the hangover, sorry

134 million travelled to and from the UK in 2019, 40.9min and 93.1m out.
A £50m contrat for 2 tests each (2nd & 8th days) at £100 each test that’s only 250,000 passengers. A £200m contrat makes it just 1 million passengers. Huge potential there medium term. I’ll be more than happy with £10m to start with.
* Overseas residents made 40.9 million visits to the UK in 2019, an increase of 0.6 million compared with 2018.
* There were 93.1 million visits overseas by UK residents in 2019, an increase of 3% compared with 2018.

Can anyone call the NHS and say we have the solution to save the staff and the NHS £billions in lost productivity and other ensuing costs. Come on dr Cave, save the NHS to save the nation ....and us poor shareholders who backed you. What is this bloody PR newly recruited doing with OUR money? I hope it wasn’t recommended by TB, lol.

Tdaves, no it’s not too late, lol, ppe will be needed for years to come. Governments are talking now about having a worldwide treaty of preparedness for the next pandemic, if this helps to liven up the “depressed” shareholders of which I’m one lol, particularly seeing that Tory dinner get £160m and the scientist Dr Cave zilch SO FAR.
Donate 60k to the Tory party and get £160m ppe contract in return (this may explain DHSC lack of interest in p2f mask SO FAR). Good investment strategy, hey.
Shall we all ship in few £1000 and donate to the tories to get them to purchase our mask? What increase to the sp would £160m make, lol?
Incidentally my rant post about our corrupt political and financial system this morning has been deleted. Lse if you’re reading, you don’t believe in free speech, particularly to educate about how the real financial world operates, yet you’re a financial educating website? Are you going to delete the guardian article post too? I thought you were on the side of the PIs!!!
“Following the call between Meller and Lord Bethell, a hereditary peer turned health minister who oversees the award of contracts to combat the virus, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) recommended that the delays should be dealt with urgently, the documents show.
The documents raise questions about whether Meller, who has donated nearly £60,000 to the Conservative party since 2009, received preferential treatment or unusual access to ministers in the early days of the pandemic.
In total, Meller Designs, the firm he co-owned until January this year, has been given six contracts worth £160m by the DHSC to produce PPE during the pandemic. All were awarded without a competitive tender.”
