The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
schaden, so all your children are over 45 years old...and you have no time for them or your grandchildren but spend it here annoying people on a company you’re not invested in??? Is that because your own children/grandchildren have no time for you? Well if you’re annoying strangers on here I dread to think how you interact with your ‘hate’ ones- I wish I could write ‘loved’ but it does appear to be the former going by your implicit message. Oh and your wife is a midwife while all your kids are over 45. Is your wife 45 too, since you like spouting bull’sheet’ on a bb of no concern to you? ‘Sad’ isn’t? It’s spring time btw, and lovely outside .....unless you’re stuck with your miserable life where you are.
I’ll try again.......you’re not looking for new investors to join you, lol? See twice I’ve selected “strong buy”, I’m supporting you even not invested yet, lol

Any summary of yourgene would be much appreciatedThu 13:47
I’m genuinely interested in investing in yourgene as I am already in mhc, both of which would apparently be cooperating in any forthcoming government test contracts
Could anyone please give a brief summary. I’m a little intrigued that out of the covid stocks others have 10 x bagged eg avacta yet hasn’t sold one test yet, same with gdr, odx etc. Yet I understand yourgene is leading the government RTC. TIA and GLA including myself hopefully, lol.
schaden, yes it’s “sad” we all invested here “are wasting your time”. And you not invested here are indeed using your time productively. Indeed it is sad ....and much more sadder you’re deramping a company that is trying to save your loved ones from covid, but I suspect you don’t have any otherwise you’d at the very least be spending your ‘valuable’ time with them. Very sad indeed....I’m crying: hen hen hen...for the money you’re costing me as a taxpayer outside this bb. How many times have you visited A&E even during this lockdown, did you say? Or was that police stations, or both?
BBC report yesterday. India worse than ever due to new variant and people not following social distancing measures inc not wearing mask. Come dr Cave get those bloody masks out of Volz cave. PEOPLE ARE DYING FOR GOD SAKE!!!!
Sorry if it’s been posted before but worth watching again if only to hammer in the message: mask mask and a covid killing mask, nothing else will do atm even vaccines as per most experts.

trickynk, I have no respect for dishonest people be them rampers or derampers and torreaguas is both. If this type is your companion good luck with your miserable life. Your handle says it all ‘tricky’ink.
As to his advertising the mask, lol, yes I’ve seen him with the mask splashed out on tv and newspapers.
Torreaguas, funny how you’re now continuously critical of the bod who helped you make money out of the mask. They must have had a good reason to terminate their business with you. You have not even an ounce of integrity. In fact you’ve never had any on this bb trading rms and ramping/deramping accordingly as many including myself have reminded you numerous times. Will never buy your mask even if it’s 1p, bad looser.

Plus Boris yesterday said drop in infection and deaths due to lockdown NOT vaccine, ie preventive measures such as mask wearing.
rikkitikki, the tests are free for the users by paid for by the government. Ncyt PCR test are provided free in hospitals but the government gave them a contract of £350m for it.
We might 2 contracts, one for our PCR and one as a test service provider for lft (not our test) given the infrastructure and distribution network with Boots......not to mention airport’s.
I wouldn’t expect randox to be used again by the government, given the corruption controversy surrounding their a) initial contract which the parliamentary watchdog looked into and b) 750,000 of their test recalled for not being sterile. No wonder they went to airlines instead and halved their price. But would any airline risk their reputation and losing customers if they linked up with randox?
We know that PCR test is a requirement for travel and for those showing positive from lft, see government website whose link I posted in my previous post. So why, according to ncyt, did the government renege on its agreement to renew ncyt contract? Could it be that a better test is on the market which could be mhc’s? See mhc ceo’s statement below, eg “the quality and accuracy of this service is SECOND TO NONE [my capitals]”.
From memory nyct is 48 hrs results test (though improvement may have been made since) and it causes quite serious discomfort that even doctors complained about it. Mhc test is painless and gives a quicker result 24-48 hours. Plus ncyt’s is not home test, whereas mhc’s is. Moreover, nyct’s isn’t provided to the general public and therefore don’t have nationwide distribution network, but geared towards hospitals, clinics and medical centres, whereas mhc’s is and has Boots for nationwide distribution and as such, unlike ncyt’s, is more suitable to the general rollout starting this month.
Mhc CEO‘s statement on the quality of the test from the last rns:
“A further area for customer consideration is the discomfort that can be involved with nasopharyngeal or throat swabs. Our service resolves this by using a gentle nasal swab that doesn't compromise the accuracy of the test, providing a more comfortable customer experience".
"We know that the quality and accuracy of this service is second to none and this agreement is a highly credible endorsement of that."

I think it’s quite likely mhc will get a government contract (and hopefully airport contract too) to deliver ltf testing rollout which is starting tomorrow, as test service provider (since mhc don’t have lft test), based on the following:
-According to the Sunday Times today, quite few test services companies registered with the government have been criticized for poor services. Others unable to cope and stopped taking new orders. The government are looking into this. They certainly would want to ensure efficient testing service.
-Therefore you couldn’t get better than Mhc with Boots, a household name with 500+ nationwide stores and online service and years experience in consumer basic health provision
-as per the government announcement on Friday (see government website), test to be provided to everyone twice a week from Monday.
-Government to enlist pharmacies, among others, to provide testing service..... Boots/mhc???
-Matt Han**** on Friday stated 1 in 3 have Covid with no symptoms and added positive test requires a PCR one for reconfirming, https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-campaign-urges-public-to-get-tested-twice-a-week .Therefore what better than Mhc/Boots administering first the lft and then ON THE SPOT mhc do the pcr test for the positive ones, if only the positives not to slip through the net and go on to infect others, rendering the whole exercise of country wide testing futile? This will be of great concern to the government as “1 in 3 of those will have no symptoms but can still spread the virus.”, see above cited government website.
-Abingdon is leading the government consortium lft. Mhc still have strong links with them, as they sold them their lft manufacturing facility ....and transfer of staff too. Mhc continue to outsource to them manufacturing of their pregancy lft.
-in addition to Abingdon, mhc have strong links with several companies involved with the government RTC-UK: a) BBI for whom our ceo penny and director Lyn worked, b) Abingdon where Lyn is also director, c) Yourgene whose PCR test mhc is using and two of mhc directors are their directors too, one of whom, Adam Reynolds, is also a director of KEF. EKF supply components of various covid tests; and their sample collection device mhc are using for their PCR.
-This testing rollout allows for home testing, a service that mhc already provide.
Therefore I’m sure the government will be more than happy with the above cited companies to provide a complete processes of testing provision, from test production and manufacturing to mhc (along with others of course) providing the testing service with Boots. There is no need for lab for lft and no technical expertise either. Experience and infrastructure of providing testing services is crucial though, hence those companies criticized according to the Sunday Times today. I read somewhere Boots are already providing testing service. Could it be that a nod from the government led to the tie up a day after the ..
Worth reading every single ligne of the article below. It’s written by experts who are members contributors to The Lancet Report. Their conclusion is unless EVERY SINGLE country in the world is vaccinated, new and more deadly covid variants will continue to emerge and will reinfect the populations of those countries already vaccinated, ie back to square one. They also urge continuation of vaccination ALONG social distancing AND MASK WEARING.
It will take years to vaccinate every country and therefore masks wearing will remain the norm for the foreseeable future.

I too expect a big rnsSSS in the next 2 weeks. The following entities may have been waiting for the MHRA approval to finally sign the contractSSS:
-February rns states volz to start mask production at the end of 1st quater, so now into 2nd week delay may explain contract pending MHRA
-Grahame, p2f sales manager, tweeted about care homes 4/5 weeks ago, again possible contracts pending MHRA
-NHS/DHSC, I recall it took about 8/9 months for nyct to get a DHSC contract from their test announcement date; we are at the same relative juncture with the mask. Matt Han**** liked p2f tweet some 5/6 months ago. Nottingham MP who met and promised dr Cave to help tabled a question in parliament on the mask around the same time.
-dr Cave wouldn’t retweet MHRA approval given the debacle of TB pump & dump for he which was previously criticised unless he was confident this time is for real some contracts are to be signed soonish.
-MHRA approval has finally opened the door to manufacturing as well as commercial deals that were pending such approval- it could be that rms was holding out to strengthen their negotiations position particularly with manufacturers such as volz, consideryrms is a small company.
From now on, there is no reason to stop a flurry of deals which would be reflected in as many rnsSSS. I recall ncyt was £3ish before just the DHSC contract started the sp motoring to £12.50.....from just 6p the year before and 17p on the day they 1st announced their Covid test. I expect rms to do better because of the difference in the target market size and the need for mask post Covid, as world leaders are already planning a worldwide agreement (as I posted before) for preparedness for the next pandemic ie stockpiling of PPE, among other measures. Gla
Good for mhc, a well established test provider for years, particularly when you add Boots.

RegulatorUK, please tell how realistic should I be? You don’t think an MHRA approval would get contracts from the NHS and DHSC? What do you think of the medical staff’s reaction, let alone the public’s if this wouldn’t be the case? 122,000 such staff are off work due to covid, as per the guardian last week. And why would the NHS and DHSC not order a unique covid killing mask? Aren’t they spending £100s billion to fight covid? Plus Matt Han**** liked p2f tweet mask few months back. So may be he was waiting this approval to instruct his department to make the orders. Wouldn’t you if had that responsibility? He is accountable to his nhs staff and the public at large who will be up in arms were they to learn of this mask and no purchase from the NHS or DHSC.

RE: Contracts to follow MHRA approvalToday 08:22
“ Very big achievement and certainly the NHS and DHSC contracts should follow very soon too.”
I think you need to be a little more realistic...
It could be that rms have been waiting for this approval to strengthen their position in negotiations. We should get volz contractSSS very soon. It may that everything was dusted with a clause “pending MHRA approval”.
Very big achievement and certainly the NHS and DHSC contracts should follow very soon too.
