Pacman1, apart from gas I have had a good day today. Being in Funds especially the American ones I can track tonight whether I will up or down tomorrow. What I do is create a separate folder and add the top 10 shares of the fund to the folder, I can then track what’s happened or happening for each of the top 10 shares through the evening, I get a valuation on the fund at close of Wall St (hypothetical) being if I owned 1 share of each of the top 10 in that particular fund I would be up of down so much £££’s, this gives me a good guide to whether the fund and my portfolio will be up or down when updated the next day around 5.30pm UK time.
I know roughly what’s going on, no BB’s to read and post on, no ramping etc it’s all managed properly of course with a fee.
Here and I appreciate its AIM, but it’s a mile away from proper investing, nobody knows what the f*ck is going on albeit some think they do. If you post something that’s not liked your post gets reported and deleted, you can’t post anything that’s classed as negative otherwise your treated as the bad boy. Seems like the company don’t want anyone to know what the f*ck is going on either hence frustrations build up on here, the company don’t seem to care if they have PI’s investors or not, it’s a total mess.
Somebody on here and I can’t remember who it was otherwise I would post his/her name implied I was gambling not investing, well I can tell everyone here if your into YG it’s a gamble, none are investing, you’d only be investing if the company was providing comms and each individual reacted sold or hold on the information given.
Month in month out it’s like a game of Cluedo, that’s not investing in my book.
