I really don't know how many more times you need to hear that India have not started a SM rollout. Most other nations have, JC called it wrong, again. tonyj, there's over 100 million in the US alone. They work, no need to upgrade, and no need for CC to save the day. Believe it or not there are many other countries across the globe, other than India. Most are well advanced in their SM rollouts, none call for the comms solution of an insolvent English company. Tomorrow is the 8 month day since CC's MD & CEO where placed in India. 8 months of absolutely nothing. Covid will be the reason, then the elections, then maybe a realisation that the sales method isn't working . By then, the market has moved and they are demanding new tech after not buying the old. JC gets the bucket out, and the rest is history. Apologies for using the 'history' word, I know it grates. You and dweeb have a nice day now : )

None jake. Most have been completed recently, tonyj clearly doesn't get out much. Over 3 million in UK last year alone, CC inside errrr none. Obviously the 30 odd million in France recently completed must have failing comms tech all over them, if only they had an insolvent supplier to hand.

Given they had a forced placing in June, there needs to be some serious post period information to make it worth reading.

Read carefully. India have not placed volume orders, they have wasted years of time and energy, pun intended. JC has called this market wrong, and continues to do so. Other nations around the globe have continued with their SM plans, and many are complete - 100's of millions installs. Comms are working just fine, very small error issues, and CC not involved in one. IF/When India get off the fence, the companies that sorted these nations will be ready, willing and able to cover the volumes required. IMO CC will probably fail on bench tests alone as they simply cannot run the company without shareholder/ UK Gov handouts. Why would any nation, or individual for that matter, trust a business with such a torrid track record in financial failure? The last placing was out of the Blue, revenue cannot be anywhere near JC/HP presentation level just 7 months ago, and the silence from the company is borderline abuse of shareholders.

Thailand = 17,000 units after 18 months. Another 'order' is placed for a tiny pilot... screams trust and intent in your world?
Indore = Install made showcase location. Visits from many, possibly. Orders from none, confirmed.
How does any of this get anyone excited? This co. are as boring as hell, and are again running out of time and money... simples.

What does any of this have to do with Cyan? Nations have been rolling out Smart constantly over recent years, even UK.
None of them have needed CC comms, even UK.
The energy production source is interesting, but how it involves, or concerns CC, is a mystery.

I can assure you I know plenty of senior people in the Indian arena. Many have never heard of CC as they are soooo far down the food chain. The thought of them having a dust covered phone giving direct access to central gov is ludicrous, even for you. The purpose of any appointments should be to gain contracts, for 8 months they have failed, simples.

Unlike CC's top table then. The MD and CEO India will have been in place for 8 months on Monday.

Early next month will be the ELEVEN MONTH mark since the last contract win. Just think on that a while. The new team in India must be struggling to fill their days, and the excuse list must be a weekly cringe! Time, and money, is running out......again.

The fact that some see 30k units as 'orders' tells it's own story. JC back in the day spouted 50k...250k.... 5 million... all these 'sticky' contracts. JC knows the market about as well as my Dog.
