a/ It's too expensive.
b/ The comms need tweaking as they are too close to the working meters.
c/ The units do not fit inside an electric meter housing.

Following another difficult question, they had a pretty easy ride from most lets face it, the answer to this one wrong footed everyone. If you ran a multi national and had options on Comms tech for your next contract, would you risk the offer from someone who may well not be around to see it through? Really? Customers see what we see, public accounts, and all this time trading they are weak as hell. For me, it would be like employing a decorator to paint your house, and him asking you to hold the ladder while he's up it.

It was a question asked to cover the companies thoughts on unearned funding. I could have asked what happens if there is no interest in the next placing? Same answer will have applied. Basically, they will rely on free handouts wherever they can get them, and HP's response didn't indicate this will be ending anytime soon. You are clearly another that shy's away from the difficult questions, best not dwell too long on the awkward answers eh. R&D credit is STILL the biggest single revenue source, after nearly 20 years trading, what response do you think that would have produced?

I asked the question how would CC manage without the above. The answer, they doubt it will get withdrawn, which is true, but if it does they will go for other Gov handouts!! Not even they are thinking this company can stand on its own anytime soon.
HP then goes into CBILS mode. They don't qualify as they get so much R&D back, they didn't furlough as everyone was so busy. CBILS is a business interruption loan, if business has been interrupted they could furlough.
Given the need for fund raise, I'd say with some certainty they are running a company of busy fools.

You don't seem to realise the back story here. Very larger players, it does sound like more than one, have literally questioned CC about their fears on giving the company a 7-10 year contract believing there must be a decent chance they won't be around to service it. That isn't something someone has dreamt up tonyj, it happened and it was very, very recent. Blinkers off, as you always say this is AIM, and companies like CC are 10 a penny, which is why I tend to stay with ASX.

I mentioned the HP comments on large potential customers, checking CC balance sheets and yearly income performance, and questioning the wisdom of awarding large contracts to CC. Some think if they don't look strong enough, the customer will just buy CC, they won't, they will just find another tech source.
