It is an 8p fix Roddy. But if you can see past that, and want to gamble on the next CC fiasco, it could be a decent punt. This is a trading share, and at this price the upside might well be worth the effort.

At least Genus were decent enough to place an order. The Chinese just saw what they needed, and ripped it in a very short space of time. They will likely sell into India if the rollout ever starts in volume. ' Made in India ' module goes out the window when the price is right for India. JC was correct though, CC tech will have a big say in India Smart.

I was one that said CC wouldn't be involved in volume, as you well know. My comment came from a senior director, that had to leave through 'length of service' , you will know who this was. You will also know that CC winning these larger contracts will leave a mighty hole in the finance arena, a hole that will need filling with yet more investor funds and further dilution. LTI, you have served CC well. Cannot help thinking the end game is in sight, and you will need to find another vocation sometime soon. Well played.

Add in the probable dilution fund raise to service the order, and it's the perfect storm. This business cannot continue with its failed model.

Based on this method, it appears CC trading at 8P was already way over valued prior to todays RNS.

It should mean the impending FR comes through at a decent level.

JC needs to make it the sole condition of sale. IS taking India alone will leave this Dog without legs, and most of its Teeth missing. You cannot run a business JC, just get rid and retire, you have rinsed this for all it's worth.

Award contracts, spanning 8-10 years, to a business that has never shown a profit in its 22 year history. Perhaps JC could clear up the Indian thought process when the AGM presentation comes out.

I'm sure it would have been extensively covered at the AGM... all will be revealed when the Presentation is published.

New target areas are needed as CC may have finally realised India could stop their rollout any day now.

They cannot comment any further than already put out in the RNS.

Just think inside the real world for a second tonyj. CC Holdings post results from the group. The vast majority of sales numbers are generated by CC India. For many years now as the sales figures grow, the loss figure gets magnified. Now see if you can work out how JC can 'play his cards right'. I wouldn't trust him with winning Snap, but if IS want CC India bad enough they will get it for their price, less a bit as usual. IS hold all the cards.

Tonyj, you have clearly never been anywhere near a company sale, or have any understanding of how a valuation is built in. If anything is accepted by JC, the value will be a genuine disappointment to you.

Same way they get around most things tonyj. They ignore and hope for the best, well best for the BoD, nothing else matters.

Now , now jake. JC has built sales to a respectable volume, given it's India. Shame he can't now make a margin that will support the busniess going forward. IS have outsmarted JC, which is probably not hard, in destroying his profit % with their own purchase orders. If JC doesn't play their game now, I have no doubt the orders will cease instantly. I wouldn't put it past them to 'lodge' the ones already placed either.

As you say Vas, the confirmed rate of install is pathetic at best. I would not be surprised if the AMISP's are holding off any sub contract deals and playing off against each other to screw the cost. This could well explain CC's freefall in margins. It will also explain why CC were so desperate to qualify AMISP status. Forget Gas & Water, Smart Electricity appears well beyond Indias appetite already.
