RE: AZN fail again!!!!8 Dec 2018 03:48
Sar wont let anything slip at the agm, im sure of that...they dont give anything away in their market updates so you can be sure they will shut up shop during the questions if many are put.
Thats fair enough but im hoping (and its a bit rich coming from me since i cant attend) that those who do attend are able to push them on where we are as shareholders.
Not everybody is in agreement and some are happy to wait and hope for a good outcome but im becoming very concerned at the timeline...we waited more than 7 years for trial approval for chk1 and the timeline since then just shows that even when you can get these drugs into trials, it can take a long time to even get through a phase one, things can change and the risk is really only just beginning at that point.
I said before that i would like them to sell either chk or tyk and pay a divvy if sale was large enough but i know thats highly unlikely, it would not suit the bods self interest unless they took up their options quickly so i dont see that as a possibility really.
I am hoping for an outright sale of all, that is obviously a selfish point of view but the alternative is where we have been for years. If things dont go our way with chk1, efficacy/milestones etc, if things dont go our way with tyk2, timeline/approval/deal etc...in 2 or 3 years, we could still be in this position of hoping for a break with an sp of 0.25...we should not be so confident this can't happen, take a look at others around and the sp history of sar itself, the risks are far greater than the possibilities imo.
This is the risk we have taken ofcourse and imo, its not directly the bods fault if we fail...this is worldwide highest scalr complex stuff they are dealing with so we cant complain if it fails.
However, if theres an opportunity that presents itself for us to make money then they must take it, that is the responsibility they accepted when the company was floated...so im hoping one of the attendees who thinks along these lines can get this point across, it might be met with deaf ears ofcourse but what can you do...either hold or sell.
Sorry if a bit negative but im no longer blinded by this great opportunity..my thinking is now more focused on a timeline that could easily run away from us and the risks associated...i think the last 10 years proves that things are never straight forward.
Good weekend all anyway....from the miserable one!
Sorry dave but im the new victor:):)
